Jennifer Kahn will update attendees on gene editing & gene drive technologies, which arequickly evolving. She will also discuss their implications for society, extending from their usein areas such as human fertility, agriculture & pharmaceuticals. Recent developments in China, where this technology was used onembryos, has raised concerns globally on the use of these technologies. Kahn is returning to the Club after her sold out program on this topic in Novemberto update members on recent developments. Gerald Harris, chair of the Technology & Society member-led forum, will interview her; thediscussion will be followed by a question & answer session.
