Looking at job postings you will find that some companies are using scrum. Others are using agile project management or agile development. Several are hiring agile project managers or even agile scrum masters. What gives?! This session will clarify the difference between agile & scrum & how they connect. It's geared for beginners but even veterans will learn something new. (I did while creating it!)
Our Presenter (In his own words):
My name is Oren Gotesman, I started my career in customer support, grew into project management & found out about scrum at a meetup event that took place at a Round Table Pizza. I run an online community with over 1500 members where we talk about common project management & scrum master issues (I'm way more fun at parties than this makes me sound). I live in San Jose with my beautiful wife & daughter. My backyard has a worm farm that takes my scrap food & converts it into compost (My sister gave me this after she accidentally won 5th place in a raffle - she was trying to win a Tesla.) Every year on my birthday I host an annual pickleball tournament with close family & friends. It's a great game if you've never played.
