Brokers play a uniquely powerful role in our members health insurance experience. They dont just help with enrollmentthey influence choices, payments, digital adoption, & care engagement throughout the year. Were investing in a modern broker platform that enables brokers to be even more effective partners & advisors.

Were seeking a Senior Product Manager who blends strategic vision with hands-on execution. You will define the future of broker engagement at our company, using technology to align broker incentives, enhance education & insight delivery, & shape member behaviors that improve financial stability & health outcomes.

You will report into a Group Product Manager.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings & events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $158,400.00 - $207,900.00 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Define, defend, & execute on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for product investments that power our broker platform experience; implement solutions well-tailored to that strategy.
• Define OKRs & KPIs to measure business & operational impacts, & relentlessly identify improvements.
• Independently identify & bring together the right counterparts to solve a strategic or executional challenge, even when not clearly defined.
• Independently problem-solve issues across teams & domains to quickly diagnose root cause & move to resolution factoring in trade-offs on speed, scalability & quality. 
• Spearhead complex initiatives with ability to influence without authority. Manage timelines, cross-functional team accountability, & risk identification.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, & operations partners to gather insights on user needs & ship innovative functionality that improves operational & financial efficiency goals,
• Articulate crisp & thorough requirements & clearly communicate them across stakeholders, incorporating data & user research insights. Produce artifacts that junior team members can learn from.
• Invest in strengthening the talent on Oscar's product team, by developing more junior team members through mentorship.
• Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience collaborating cross-functionally among engineers, designers, operations experts, & others in a Product Management or Product Management-adjacent role.
• 4+ years of experience in driving rigorous prioritization processes.
• 4+ years of experience with tech systems & understanding basic technology infrastructure such as backend services, database relationships, & leveraging database tools such as SQL.
• 2+ years of experience leading complex, cross-domain initiatives.
• 2+ years of experience root-causing ambiguous problems, building roadmaps towards a solution, & successfully executing against that roadmap.

Bonus Points:

• 2+ years of experience building consumer experiences, preferably in health-tech.
