About the Role 

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join the Cross Platform team in Operations Product. The Operations Product team is responsible for utilizing the latest technologies to bring the highest level of efficiencies across a wide range of core business processes across iCapital. The team strives to solve the most complex problems with real impact to business operation costs, with a vision towards driving revenue with packaged technology product solutions across the alternatives industry. The Cross Platform team is the first of its kind with a focus on iCapitals Operations teams as the most important clients & has the unique opportunity to work across all areas of the iCapital platform, cutting across all business process areas, by solving problems with a holistic view end to end 

This role will be working in a team-oriented environment with smart & hardworking individuals in a results-oriented culture with support from the Executive Management. This is an opportunity to solve fun & complex industry wide problems, with a focus on various alternative investment products. This individual will be working directly with end users & clients to bring scale & efficiency spanning across a multitude of different business processes, as well as various user experiences for key critical online functions. The ideal candidate will utilize the latest technologies & innovative solutions, with room to grow or broaden responsibilities as the company continuously grows. This role will be responsible for various areas of product building, and will work towards identifying unmet needs, defining requirements, writing user stories, developing project communication plans, & testing product features. We live & breathe agile & deploy fast, to learn & iterate quickly. Having fun while doing it is a big part of who we are. The ideal candidate will embrace a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment & possess strong communication & leadership skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work cross-functionally with various Product & Technology teams in the development of product roadmaps that align with company goals & objectives. 
  • Create & analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) post-production release to evaluate product success & drive continuous improvement initiative to quantify the benefit & value add of the feature. 
  • Engage with business teams to identify pain points & find areas of opportunity for the use of technology. 
  • Help lead engagement with end users to identify & deliver solutions to core functional areas & user experiences. 
  • Collaborate with UX Design teams, Technology, & other partners in scoping different solutions, writing user-stories & preparing the organization for product launches. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of business impacts & work with others to manage concurrent requests & requirements. 
  • Work closely with the business teams to capture all the requirements & think outside the box to find solutions & designs that enhance the user experience. 
  • Monitor the performance of the product & continuously improve it through all the life-stages of a product. 
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape from a business & legal & compliance perspective. 
  • Step outside the product realm when appropriate to contribute to the team & overall company mission. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3-8+ years of experience in product management in a fast-paced, agile environment 
  • Critical thinker & comfortable with the unknown 
  • Willingness to dig deep, analyze, & know the ins & outs of how things work 
  • Natural problem solver & driven to push initiatives to conclusions 
  • Great communicator & comfortable engaging others for ideas & resolutions 
  • Comfort with leveraging SQL & able to generate conclusions based on data being presented 
  • Capable or growing into a role of managing space in terms of organizing requests & priorities 
  • Develop a solid understanding of organizational data flow & its impact on business processes 
  • Strong technical background & understanding; ability to construct wireframes & design user experiences while understanding basic API functionalities 
  • Capable of building relationships to gain buy in & achieve business results 
  • History of customer centric focus with a knack for quick & thoughtful problem-solving 
  • Financial technology background strongly preferred 
  • Expertise with QA testing & business analysis 
  • Strong interpersonal & presentation skills 
  • Capable of growing into or demonstrated track record of influencing others effectively 

 

 Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000 depending on level. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
