The Global Facilities Manager is a member of the global Engagement & People Experience team, & reports into the VP of Engagement & People Experience. One of the teams key objectives is to create workplace environments that reflect DoubleVerifys values of passion, accountability, collaboration & trailblazing. You will primarily be responsible for overseeing facility maintenance, vendor relationships, budget management, & ensuring compliance with safety regulations across all of DoubleVerifys global offices & locations. The role balances creative input on design & employee experience with critical thinking to streamline operations & support company growth. You will also have the opportunity to support Workplace & People Experience initiatives that could benefit from your project management expertise.

This role is located at DoubleVerifys headquarters in New York City, & will be required to travel as necessary to DoubleVerify offices & locations. 

What You'll Do

  • Oversee facility maintenance & repairs: Schedule & supervise routine maintenance, repairs, & upgrades of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, & security. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly & efficiently.
  • Manage vendor relationships for facility services: Negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, & waste management. Monitor vendor performance & ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety & environmental regulations: Implement & enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, & maintain records of compliance. Stay updated on local, state, & federal regulations related to facility operations & environmental protection.
  • Coordinate office space planning & moves: Plan & execute office space layouts, relocations, & expansions. Manage furniture procurement & installation. Coordinate with IT & other departments for infrastructure setup.
  • Manage facility budget & expenses: Develop & manage the annual facilities budget. Track expenses, analyze variances, & identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare financial reports & forecasts.
  • Address employee facility-related requests & concerns: Respond to employee inquiries & requests regarding facility issues, such as repairs, maintenance, & comfort. Provide timely solutions & communicate updates effectively.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections: Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, & areas for improvement. Document findings & implement corrective actions.
  • Implement & maintain facility policies & procedures: Develop & implement facility policies & procedures to ensure efficient operations & compliance. Communicate policies to employees & provide training as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of office appliances/equipment: Maintain inventory of office appliances & equipment in collaboration with the local PEX team member. Order supplies as needed & ensure proper storage & distribution.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in facilities management: Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management or a related field. Demonstrated ability to manage complex facilities operations.
  • Capital Improvement Projects & Office Build-Outs: Responsible for full life cycle of new office construction project management & ad hoc office improvement projects
  • Strong vendor management skills: Experience in vendor selection, contract negotiation, & performance management. Ability to build & maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  • Lease Administration: Serve as manager of DV lease agreements & work with internal stakeholders to determine renewals & flag decision dates.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Form strong relationships with internal stakeholders (IT, AV, Security, Finance, Legal, HR, etc) to facilitate project transparency & holistic outcomes
  • Negotiation skills: Experience negotiating & securing favorable contracts with vendors, while also managing budgets & finding cost-saving opportunities. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, understand market pricing, & advocate for the organization's needs.
  • Knowledge of safety & environmental regulations: Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, building codes, & environmental compliance requirements. Certification in safety or environmental management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills: Strong verbal & written communication skills. Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, & implement corrective actions effectively.
  • Budget management experience: Proven experience in developing & managing budgets. Ability to track expenses, analyze variances, & identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently & prioritize tasks: Self-motivated & able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks & manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude: Foundational understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, & plumbing. Ability to troubleshoot minor issues & coordinate repairs.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, & walking. Ability to respond to emergencies outside of normal business hours.


Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.

The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $86,000 - $163,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
