The Opportunity Reporting to the Associate Director, the Senior Accountant will be a key player in the month-end close as well as have an opportunity to grow within a dynamic finance organization. Responsibilities
- Prepare & distribute monthly departmental expense analyses to management explaining key variances
- Prepare & maintain monthly balance sheet account analyses including reconciliations, rollforwards & variance analyses
- Maintain monthly analysis of all accrual accounts & prepare monthly accrual reports
- Compile financial information to support the preparation of 10-Ks, 10-Qs & earnings releases including preparing quarterly financial reporting packages
- Continuously evaluate monthly close processes with an eye toward improvement
- Assist with internal & external reviews & audits, providing supporting documentation & responding to queries as needed
- Ad hoc management reports as requested
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Advanced, Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Conditional formulas)
- Oracle/Oracle Hyperion Financial Management & Blackline experience is preferred
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Proactive, self-starter capable of working independently, following through on tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 The base salary range above represents the anticipated low & high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary & may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, & performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, & short- & long-term incentives.
