Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Lead Data Scientist to join our Engineering team.

Oscar has both care management & virtual care assets which provide a mechanism to help clinically risky members. You will help to improve the impact of these programs. This will involve sizing ideas to change existing or create new programs, designing experiment/measurement plans for programs, designing targeting mechanisms used for identification for programs, conducting ongoing monitoring & measuring of programs, & determining ways to optimize programs. You will apply population health or clinical expertise, predictive modeling, & traditional healthcare program evaluation techniques.
You work with Oscar's clinical team & have accountability for driving shared goals.
You will report into the Senior Director, Data.
Work Location: This position is based in our New York office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings & events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $174,400 - $228,900 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, & annual performance bonuses.
