Real Estate Analyst, US

Convene is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to support the Real Estate Team.  As a Real Estate Analyst, you will report to the Director of Real Estate.  The position will require close interaction & collaboration with the Product, Design, Commercial, & Operations teams of the company.  Although defined as a position emphasizing detailed financial analysis, this role will provide an exceptional foundation for professional growth in many areas of commercial real estate, hospitality & retail, as well as the opportunity to work with senior leadership in a high-growth company.  

What You'll Do:

• Underwrite & maintain cash flow projections for various site selection opportunities in Excel
• Assist in preparation of Investment Committee Memorandums for review & approval 
• Support the real estate team during Investment Committee presentations 
• Support market research, transaction timelines, due diligence & data collection efforts 
• Research trends impacting real estate across major global office & retail markets
• Provide overall support for real estate team & growth strategy
• Accommodate for a rotating work schedule to include occasional nights/weekends & long hours

What We Look For:

• Bachelors degree 
• REFM certification strongly preferred
• 1-3 years of professional experience in an analytical role focused on commercial real estate, hospitality, or retail expansion
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel; ability to develop & maintain dynamic operating financial models for a hospitality business, understand & model structured leases with revenue sharing, joint venture agreements, acquisitions, & cash flow waterfalls (Argus experience a plus)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, & efficient task prioritization
• Ability to think independently & anticipate next steps
• Energy & commitment to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, & collaborative environment

Base Salary:

Salary Min: $90,000  Salary Max: $100,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
