Professional Services Analyst - Rockerbox
Rockerbox is the source of truth for marketing performance. As part of our scrappy & deeply analytical Professional Services team, youll be a core contributor to how we help customers make smarter, data-informed decisions. This role is hands-on, technical, & client-facingideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow as both an analyst & a strategic partner to marketers.
Youll work closely with our Head of Professional Services & other internal stakeholders to design structured marketing tests, analyze results, & present findings to customers. Your days will be split between pulling & cleaning data from Rockerboxs warehouse, writing code to set up & evaluate tests, & building visualizations & presentations to communicate results. Youll spend time navigating datasets, solving complex customer problems, & customizing analyses for each unique account.
You wont be working in a silothis role is deeply collaborative, & youll have exposure to real-world marketing questions & strategies. Youll also have the opportunity to grow into greater ownership of customer relationships, take on increasingly complex analyses, & build your voice as an advisor. Were looking for someone with a technical foundation whos excited to learn, iterate, & have a tangible impact on how marketers understand whats working.
What Youll Do

Own the day-to-day work of designing, executing, & analyzing structured tests for Rockerbox clients

Write SQL queries to extract & clean data from our warehouse

Use Python or R to structure experiments & build analysis workflows

Create & maintain Deepnote workbooks (or similar notebooks) to visualize test progress & results

Translate findings into clear, actionable presentations for our customers

Troubleshoot edge cases, data issues, & client-specific nuances

Occasionally use external data (e.g., Google Analytics) to support an analysis or supplement insights
What You Bring

1-2 years professional experience in a consulting, data analysis, or similar environment

Experience writing SQL in a real-world environment (e.g., school projects, internships, or job settings)

Proficiency in Python & / or R

Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Strong attention to detail, especially when working with incomplete or inconsistent datasets

A creative approach to problem-solving using data

Strong written & verbal communication skillsyou're comfortable presenting your work
Nice to Haves

Experience working with ecommerce or marketing data

Familiarity with GA4 or other client-side analytics platforms

Prior experience building code notebooks in a platform such as Deepnote or Jupyter
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $54,000 - $92,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, & recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
