As a Senior Product Manager, Transportation Platforms at Via, you will lead a complex set of products & features that impact our primary user & buyer - public sector transit agencies, municipalities & governments. Via prides itself on being a true partner to the public sector in helping make transit better for everyone but especially those in low income & minority communities. You will be joining Via at a time of rapid growth, impacting hundreds of thousands of riders weekly. This is an opportunity to digitize public transit & in doing so, provide greater transit access affordably, take cars off roads & create livable communities for all. What You'll Do:
- Be a lead PM responsible for a best-in-class experience for the admin console & mothership that public sector agencies rely upon for everything from their long-term transportation planning to real-time operations
- Design end to end experiences that follow the life of a ride from booking to confirmation to post-ride history & support
- Build products that help transit agencies increase efficiency for their staff while increasing rider satisfaction; Other metrics include reducing time spent on support & troubleshooting & successful resolution of issues raised by riders
- Create delightful digital experiences that in turn create excellent real-world outcomes for low-income & minority populations
- Partner with engineers & architects to build a sound infrastructure that supports multiple personas & use cases while feeling purpose-built for the end user
- Strive for excellent quality products while pragmatically releasing meaningful features on a regular cadence; employ a test & learn philosophy
- Build the short & long-term roadmap for your products by integrating customer feedback, data, trends & strategic initiatives, in an effort to continuously improve & expand Vias product offering
- Work closely with key internal & external stakeholders around the globe & different time zones to guide prioritization & make sure that product development is focused & impactful
- Lead cross-team collaboration & work on complicated problems by integrating with other product managers & development teams across the organization
- Get the job done, sync teams, while keeping the big picture firmly in mind
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience in B2C or B2B SaaS products
- Excellent collaborative written & verbal fluency in English
- Able to digest market research & customer feedback along with having a crisp understanding of technical requirements & constraints to paint a vision of what a great product could look like
- Demonstrated success in handling an end-to-end product lifecycle with the ability to drive product planning, development, & launch
- Excellent analytical abilities & a strong business acumen - an MBA is a plus
- A great multitasker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Pro-active & independent achiever, self-learner, able to handle a task from idea to production
- Team Player, with great communication/listening skills & a can-do attitude
- Thrive in fast-paced environments
- Balance delivery of MVPs with an unwavering commitment to world class products
- A firm believer in a Data First philosophy but can also make decisions in ambiguous situations
- Passion for public transit, mapping, SaaS & accessibility - working experience in these areas is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Final salary will be determined by the candidates experience, knowledge, & skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable
- Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 per year
