As the Group Product Manager within our Commerce organization, you will lead the development of core CRM capabilities that empower Squarespace merchants to effectively manage & grow their businesses. Youll play a key role in an organization powering hundreds of thousands of merchants & driving billions of dollars in GPV.
Our Marketing Tools team enables merchants to build lasting customer relationships through personalized communication, targeted campaigns, & seamless data management. From customer segmentation to outreach & engagement, this team ensures merchants can connect with their audiences, drive repeat business, & scale with confidence.
In this role, you will manage a team of PMs & align a unified vision across the squads supporting our CRM capabilities. Your primary focus will be acting as a coachdeveloping talent, fostering collaboration, & ensuring teams deliver meaningful value to our users. At times, you may also dive deeper into the work, providing hands-on guidance to help the team drive results when needed.
You will report to the Product Director of Marketing Tools. This role is open to either of our New York City or Dublin, Ireland offices (hybrid 2-3 days per week).
You'll Get To...
- Directly manage product managers & provide coaching & support to grow their careers & deliver value for our customers
- Establish a clear vision for these two groups that roll up to the broader Squarespace vision
- Guide product developmentfrom conception to launchof the products & product solutions in your scope
- Build relationships with engineering & design leader counterparts, team members, UX researchers, & product analysts to create extraordinary products
- Partner with marketing to launch new products, with customer operations to develop excellent support for merchants, & with analytics to monitor engagement & evaluate product success
- Build internal frameworks for defining team strategy & lead opportunity sizing projects
- Independently assess product tradeoffs, develop a comprehensive roadmap, explain a clear viewpoint on a product direction, & gain stakeholder support
- Develop high-level insights about your product area by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews, & usability testing
- Set OKRs for your teams with your engineering & design counterparts
- Seek out opportunities to promote your team's work
Who We're Looking For
- 7+ years of product management experience, managing software products from creation through launch & iteration
- Direct experience managing product managers
- Direct experience building CRM products is strongly preferred
- Deep experience with user research best practices
- A nuanced understanding of the methods of modern product discovery, product delivery, & user segmentation
- Experience communicating product updates, milestones, & progress to internal & external partners with the ability to align different teams around achieving business goals & outstanding user experiences

Cash Compensation Range: $185,500 - $270,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
