SVP, Brand Marketing | New York City
What Youll Do:
Convenes SVP of Brand Marketing will drive the development & execution of comprehensive marketing & brand strategies to enhance visibility, drive demand, & further position Convene as a leader in the meetings, events, & workday experience industry. This includes translating company strategy into a brand & marketing strategy, growing & managing the performance of your team, building & scaling a demand & lead generation machine to drive revenue across our entire product & brand portfolio, continuing to develop the group brand strategy & management of a multi-brand portfolio, and partnering with other members of the executive leadership team to execute on key strategic growth priorities.
Reporting directly to the CEO & serving as a member of the executive team, you will deliver actionable insights & play a critical role in guiding our Brand strategy & delivering on those goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop & implement overarching marketing & brand strategies that align with our business objectives & resonate with diverse target audiences across multiple brands, products & regions.
- Brand Management: Oversee & nurture the growth of multiple brands within our portfolio, ensuring cohesive & impactful marketing approaches tailored to each brands unique identity & market positioning.
- Global Marketing Execution: Coordinate & execute marketing campaigns, adapting strategies to local markets while maintaining a unified global brand voice. Execute a rigorous demand generation process from Marketing with pipeline reports & other analytics that ensure healthy funnel growth, as well as speedy conversion & lower CAC.
- Partnerships & Brand Activations: Identify & execute on partnership opportunities to grow brand presence alongside values-aligned businesses that elevate & extend Convene (and sub brands) market presence, or thought leadership through barter agreements, & paid content.
- Client Engagement & Loyalty: Develop & implement initiatives to drive client engagement & loyalty. This includes co-developing a Convene loyalty program, maintaining the client advisory board, & conceiving innovative strategies to foster loyalty & engagement within Convene's client base.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to create compelling messaging & positioning for our various product offerings, driving awareness, engagement, & adoption. Contribute input to product positioning, packaging & lead pricing informed by market intelligence & strategic insight.
- Comms & PR: Lead the PR & Comms team creating consistency across our brand, marketing, communications & PR messaging, ensuring strategic business objectives are met as well as effectively managing crisis response communications & gaining media traction with core brand messages.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, & lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, & results-driven performance. Manage cross-functional projects & drive strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize market research, analytics, & performance metrics to guide strategy, optimize campaigns, & measure ROI. Track competitive marketplace, industry & individual customer trends to drive the growth strategy & execution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, & Operations, to ensure marketing initiatives support broader business goals & deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends & emerging marketing technologies to drive innovation & maintain a competitive edge.
- Financial Acumen: responsible for management of the marketing budget to optimize revenue outcomes & support the global marketing teams efforts
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive marketing experience with a proven track record in managing multiple brands, along with a strong background in developing & executing successful marketing strategies for diverse product offerings.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead & inspire a team, manage cross-functional projects, & drive strategic initiatives. Record of success collaborating cross-functionally & using influence to build demand for a category-creating offering to the market
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience in leveraging data to inform strategy & decision-making.
- Communication: Exceptional communication & presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly & persuasively.
- Brand Aesthetic: A strong visual ability & brand sensibility to effectively partner with internal & external stakeholders on the creation of on-brand collateral, messaging & activations.

Base Salary:
Salary Min: $200,000 Salary Max: $225,000
This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
