THE TEAM

Napkyns programmatic leaders live within the Media Solutions team, driving expertise of the Google Marketing Platform media buying products: Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360, & more.

The Media Solutions team is made up of forward-thinking media traders, with ad platform optimization expertise across biddable media channels (including programmatic DSP media: audio, DOOH, native, display, social, SEM, video/Advanced TV, etc) & a keen sense of macro marketing, data policy, & technology trends. 

This team is not simply a trading desk - you will be a strategic biddable media expert, who will be client-facing, partner-facing, & seen as an internal expert for brainstorming future-proof ad tech solutions that drive client value & solve/automate internal workflow challenges. External training for clients will reinforce best practices covering set up, execution, reporting & optimization.  

THE DETAILS

As a Media Solutions Senior Analyst, you will refine your programmatic craft across the Google Marketing Platform (e.g. DV360, SA360, CM360), unlocking value across channels (Advanced TV/CTV, Audio, Video/YouTube, Display/Native, SEM) & the ad tech ecosystem of SSPs, CDPs, DMPs, ad verification partners, & more. 

Aside from an advancement in technical skills, this role will offer a unique entrepreneurial opportunity to support a business from the ground up, developing processes, growing the team, etc.  Youll be very independent & given the opportunity to take on challenges that you feel are mission critical for the business to scale effectively.

THE ROLE

  • As a Media Solutions Senior Analyst youll support the overall team on a day to day basis 
  • You will serve as primary client point of contact for clients & as support point for other clients when needed
    • Leading 1-2 clients as a lead, supporting your team members across 4-8 clients
    • Responsible for understanding clients business issues & goals & successful delivery of marketing/media services.
    • Becoming the trusted go to person for clients
    • Supporting Google marketing Platform (CM/DV/SA) trainings for clients
    • Helping senior team leads to identify client upsell opportunities across Media & Data Solutions, working closely with Data Solutions counterparts when necessary
  • You will support project management, & innovation within the team. Identifying process & pain points to automate & improve. As well as new productization/revenue opportunities
    • A combination of process documentation, process creation & innovation, Napkyn Magic product innovation
  • Responsible for supporting Media Team with billing & technical troubleshooting

You Will Learn: Refine your programmatic/biddable media expertise while broadening your optimization expertise with Googles omni-channel media trading platforms & analytics tools, actively planning & launching campaigns across GMP.

  • Google: Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360

Also, learning about other channels & platforms will help us determine the best fit for Google products within a marketing mix.

Note: you are not expected to have a deep expertise across all platforms & channels on day 1, but youre expected to have an eagerness & willingness to learn (and teach)!

You Will Guide & Teach: Provide training, input, & hands-on guidance around campaign design, innovation, testing frameworks, & data/measurement solutions

You Will Lead: Help us build a team!

You Will Collaborate: 

  • Work with Napkyn peers to provide best-in-class Google support
  • Codify & share best practices across the team
  • Be a strategic partner to your clients & to Google counterparts (e.g., product development)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3+ years of full-time digital optimization experience required (e.g. Programmatic/DSP media buying)
  • Consider yourself knowledgeable of DV360, ideally have experience with buying PMPs, CTV, Youtube, & other advanced programmatic knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of CM360
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing technologies & other Google Marketing Platform technologies (Google Analytics, Google Ads/Search Ads360) 
  • Previous experience with executive relationship development 
  • Understanding of high-level business strategy
  • Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value
  • Strong analytical skills, & comfort with MS Excel/Google Sheets, data analysis & internet technologies
  • Bachelors degree or similar alternative, recognized & relevant certification(s)

We aim to offer competitive direct compensation & a rich indirect compensation program that demonstrates the value we place on our employees & their wellbeing.

Total Compensation:        

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $84,000
  • Target Annualized Discretionary Bonus: 5% ($3,500 - $4,200)
  • Target Total Cash: $73,500 - $88,200
