We are seeking a Senior Global Mobility & Immigration Specialist to join our People Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a seamless, "white glove" experience for our employees navigating immigration & relocation processes. You will manage cases from start to finish, acting as the primary point of contact & ensuring a smooth, supportive journey for our employees. Your work will be crucial in helping our workforce scale globally while prioritizing the employee experience & adapting to a constantly evolving immigration landscape.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, People Operations & is on a hybrid work schedule. You will work from our West Village HQ with 2-3 in-office days per week.
You'll Get To...
Immigration Case Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact & trusted resource for employees & candidates on all immigration & visa-related inquiries.
- Manage the end-to-end preparation & execution of immigration petitions (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN) & permanent residency applications (e.g., PERM, I-140) in close collaboration with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, & Legal.
- Act as a key liaison with external immigration counsel, ensuring cases are processed efficiently & employees are kept informed at every stage.
- Stay current on changes to U.S. & global immigration regulations, adapting processes & providing clear, flexible guidance to employees & internal partners.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, & compliant records. Keeping case status updated in internal systems, & ensuring audit-readiness & process integrity.
Relocation & Global Mobility
- Develop, communicate, & manage tailored relocation packages that support business objectives & employee needs
- Coordinate with third-party relocation vendors to provide a high-touch & seamless experience for relocating employees.
- Assist with the administration of relocation benefits, including monitoring the disbursement of funds & supporting compliance efforts in partnership with Finance.
- Provide guidance & support to employees on relocation logistics & processes, ensuring a positive transition.
Employee Experience & Operations
- Oversee complex case management across the U.S., Ireland, & other global markets, ensuring timeliness, compliance, & employee support throughout each lifecycle.
- Prioritize a positive employee experience by offering clear, compassionate, & timely communication throughout the immigration & mobility lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams like People Partners, Talent Acquisition, & the business to ensure a holistic & well-coordinated approach to each case.
- Assess & optimize our current immigration & relocation programs, recommending scalable, future-ready solutions to meet evolving global needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience, reduce risk, & propose solutions to optimize our operational workflows.

- Support the People Operations team with high-priority projects & day-to-day operations as needed.
- Contribute to shaping the strategy & deliverables of the People Operations function with a focus on global impact.
Who We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of experience in an in-house or corporate setting, focused on U.S. & global immigration & relocation case management.
- Strong knowledge of various U.S. visa processes (e.g., H-1B, L-1, E-3, O-1) & green card procedures.
- Experience working directly with employees & external counsel to manage cases from initiation through final resolution.
- High attention to detail & strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset & the ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with domestic & global relocation programs.
- Knowledge of immigration procedures in global markets, particularly Ireland.

Cash Compensation Range: $79,500 - $127,650 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
