Revenue Manager, New York City
This is a hybrid role in New York City, requiring three days onsite & two days remote per week.

In this pivotal role, you'll shape revenue & pricing strategies across 15 NYC venues, directly impacting our growth by optimizing inventory, leading high-stakes client negotiations, & maximizing revenue opportunities. What youll do:
The Revenue Management team within Convenes Commercial team is central to our company's revenue performance & overall commercial success. As a Revenue Manager, you will oversee revenue & pricing strategies across 14 venues in NYC, working closely with the NYC Regional Leadership team & the Global Commercial Leadership team. Your role will directly impact our revenue goals by driving strategic decisions on inventory management, client negotiations, & revenue optimization. This role is pivotal in maximizing revenue opportunities & driving sustainable growth across our NYC portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Pricing Strategy: Develop & implement pricing strategies across 14 venues in NYC, ensuring alignment with market demand, competitive landscape, & revenue goals.
- Inventory & Tetris Management: Strategically allocate space & dates to optimize venue inventory, maximizing revenue & ensuring maximum occupancy at the highest possible rates.
- Funnel Management: Proactively partner with the sales team to advance bookings, ensure forecasting accuracy, & identify opportunities within the pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
- Client Negotiations & Quote Approvals: Lead high-stakes client negotiations, approve quotes, & manage concessions to secure bookings that align with revenue goals while preserving value perception.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Create accurate forecasts & budgets based on historical data, market trends, & demand projections. Regularly review & adjust as needed to meet revenue targets.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data & reporting to uncover trends, identify risks, & capitalize on opportunities, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making across venues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead biweekly revenue optimization calls with stakeholders from sales, marketing, & operations. Present insights, review performance metrics, & collaborate on strategies to mitigate risks & maximize opportunities.
- Revenue Strategy & Optimization: Continuously evaluate revenue performance across venues, identifying & implementing strategies to drive growth, optimize yield, & align with broader company objectives.
What We Look For:
- 5+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or a related field, ideally within the hospitality or events industry.
- Proven expertise in revenue & pricing strategy development, inventory management, & client negotiations.
- Strong decision-making & strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to real-time data & trends.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with experience presenting insights & leading discussions with senior leadership & cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, & deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, power query, VBA, & advanced formulas.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying & manipulation.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B or corporate meetings & events, or the overall events industry.
- Experience managing multiple venues or properties, with a strong understanding of inventory management & market demand.
- Familiarity with revenue management systems & tools for pricing & inventory control, such as Salesforce.

On Target Earnings Total: $150,000-160,000/annually
This number is inclusive of base salary plus variable commission (paid quarterly). Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Individual pay is based on skills, experience & other relevant factors.
