Our Product Design Team

Product Design at Noom plays a pivotal role in shaping experiences that inspire, motivate, & empower our users to achieve transformational health outcomes. We design with empathy, grounded in continuous research & experimentation. As a core part of the Product organization, the Product Design team partners closely with product management, engineering, data, clinical experts, & user experience research to create intuitive, inclusive, & impactful experiences.

About the Role

As Noom continues to grow, were seeking a Vice President, Product Design & User Experience to lead our world-class design organization. In this role, you will set the strategic vision for design at Noom, foster a culture of creativity & excellence, & ensure our experiences meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, & impact. Were looking for a leader who not only sets direction but brings a strong point of view on design & thrives in being hands-on, modeling design excellence through their own craft.

You Will

• Provide visionary leadership for the Product Design function, driving excellence in craft, user experience, & cross-functional collaboration.
• Define & evangelize a holistic design & experience strategy aligned with Nooms mission & business objectives across both consumer & enterprise products.
• Build, mentor, & grow a high-performing team of designers & design leaders, cultivating a culture of innovation & continuous growth.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, & other teams to deliver seamless, engaging, & effective user experiences.
• Champion user-centered design principles & advocate for the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop a clear perspective & roadmap for how Noom harnesses generative AI to unlock new opportunities, elevate design processes, & deliver differentiated user experiences.

About You

You Have

• 15+ years of experience in product design, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success leading design organizations in high-growth, product-led companies.
• Experience with gamification & consumer-facing apps and/or in health tech, designing consumer-grade experiences (strong plus).
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates deep design expertise & a track record of delivering exceptional, user-centered experiences across platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, & leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience scaling design teams, systems, & processes in complex, fast-paced environments.
• A thoughtful, forward-looking point of view on generative AI, with the ability to anticipate its impact & guide Nooms design strategy through this evolving wave.
• Passion for health, wellness, & longevity.

Compensation Package

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $268,000-$362,000 
  • This range reflects the minimum & maximum salary target for the position for US-based candidates, at the time of posting. The actual salary offer is based on factors including relevant experience & training, assessment of functional skills & behavioral competencies, & location, among others.
• Other elements of Nooms Compensation Package
  • Noom offers a comprehensive & generous total rewards package. This may include a discretionary performance-based bonus, stock awards, healthcare (featuring a plan with premiums covered by Noom), paid holidays & paid leave (including Summer Fridays), 401k program, & various cash stipends & budgets for employees (wellness, tech, learning & development, etc).
