The Senior Account Executive - Financial Services role for CLEAR1 will play a pivotal role in expanding the CLEAR brand & biometric identity network through strategic partnerships with the most prominent financial brands in the USbanks, payment services, & financial technology companies. This is a commercially-driven position, focused on identifying, developing, & securing partnerships with businesses that share our vision of leveraging biometric identity as the new standard to reduce fraud, enhance trust, & strengthen compliance & security. This role requires a strong commercial background, a deep understanding of technical platform sales, & comfort in navigating intricate product requirements & deal structures.


What you'll do:

  • Visionary Strategic Account Executive: A sales professional with a deep understanding of how CLEARs biometric identity network can unlock seamless, secure experiences across diverse financial environments, driving innovation & growth for partners physically & digitally
  • End-to-End Deal Execution: Take ownership of the entire deal lifecyclefrom initial pitch through negotiation, deal structuring, pricing, & contractingensuring alignment with strategic goals & partner needs
  • Relentless Market Expansion: Aggressively ideate upon & pursue new use cases, cultivate strategic relationships with both direct customers & ecosystem partners, & build a robust sales pipeline while addressing customer pain points with innovative solutions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Legal, Partner Success, & Security teams to translate business opportunities into product capabilities & ensure seamless integration of new solutions
  • Pipeline Management: Efficiently manage an inherited pipeline during the first 90 days while actively building a self-driven pipeline for long-term growth beyond the initial period
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Provide actionable insights on industry trends, competitor activities, & customer needs to shape business strategies & inform product development & sales forecasts
  • Drive Enterprise Expansion: Secure new B2B opportunities & expand existing relationships, increasing CLEARs footprint across partner organizations to broaden the impact of our identity network
  • Product Mastery: Continuously develop & deepen your knowledge of CLEARs existing & future products, ensuring you can effectively position solutions to meet evolving partner needs
  • Project Management Expertise: Serve as the key point of contact between internal & external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication & project execution throughout the partnership lifecycle

  • Number of deals closed
  • Customer retention & LTV (Lifetime Value)

What youre great at:

  • Financial Services Industry Experience: Developed an intuitive understanding of the financial structures that consumers interact with day to day, including payments, banking, wealth management
  • Financial Services B2B Commercial Experience: Proven success in driving growth through complex enterprise deals
  • Track Record in Scaling B2B Tech Sales: Demonstrated success in selling technical solutions to high-growth & established enterprises, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strategic & Tenacious in Market Development: Able to strategically identify & pursue new markets, build a sales pipeline, & overcome customer objections with creativity & persistence
  • Executive Relationship Management: A proven ability to build & maintain long-term relationships at all levels, from operational teams to C-suite executives, fostering trust & alignment with key decision-makers
  • Analytical & Visionary: Skilled at balancing big-picture thinking with detailed execution. Comfortable using data & insights to shape decisions, drive business strategy, & measure success
  • Collaborative Leader & Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Known for a hands-on, proactive approach, with strong time management & prioritization skills
  • Commitment to Results: Proven ability to deliver results in a target-driven environment, with a focus on pipeline growth, revenue generation, & long-term partnerships
  • Willingness to Travel (up to 50%)

The on-target compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $285,000, depending on levels of skills & experience, This range includes our competitive commission potential, subject to the terms of the applicable commission plan at any given time. This role is also eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units.

The base salary range represents the low & high end of CLEARs salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience & performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEARs total compensation package for employees & other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
