As we continue to grow, were seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Agentic Engineering to architect & ship autonomous systems that transform the software development lifecycle at Noom.
We are building a future where every step of product development, from ideation & prototyping to testing, deployment, & monitoring, is driven by intelligent, autonomous agents. This is not a theoretical exercise. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, build, & productionize agent-powered workflows that reshape how software gets made.
As a senior engineer embedded within Engineering & reporting to the CTO, you will operate at the intersection of LLM orchestration, developer tooling, & production infrastructure, turning manual, human-gated processes into reliable, observable, & autonomous pipelines.
You Will
- Architect & implement agent-driven systems that translate product requirements into executable specifications, generate code scaffolds, & produce working prototypes with minimal human intervention
- Design & build multi-agent coordination systems & custom orchestration layers to support complex development workflows
- Develop robust agent observability infrastructure, including telemetry, logging, evaluation pipelines, & failure-mode handling
- Productionize LLM-powered workflows using providers such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, & open-source models
- Build & integrate with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins) & infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Implement evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs, including automated evaluations, regression detection, & human-in-the-loop review
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product engineering, platform/infrastructure, & data science teams in small, high-autonomy squads
- Continuously evaluate emerging models, agent frameworks, & AI-native developer tools to evolve Nooms agentic ecosystem
About You
You have shipped agentic systems to production, not just demos or prototypes, & understand the gap between a working notebook & a reliable, observable production agent. You think in systems, not scripts, designing for failure modes, observability, human escalation paths, & graceful degradation. Youre opinionated about a future software development lifecycle powered by agentic systems & are willing to lean into that future. You stay current with the rapidly evolving AI & agent ecosystem & can quickly evaluate new models, frameworks, & emerging patterns.

You Have
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on development in languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, & TypeScript
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models), including prompt engineering, tool use, function calling, & structured outputs
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Autogen, or custom multi-agent systems (prototype or production)
- Familiarity with modern agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, & Codex
- Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), & infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Experience implementing evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs, including automated evaluations, regression detection, & human-in-the-loop review

Compensation Package

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$195,000.

This range reflects the minimum & maximum salary target for the position for US-based candidates, at the time of posting. The actual salary offer is based on factors including relevant experience & training, assessment of functional skills & behavioral competencies, & location, among others.
