YOUR ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced & dynamic Product Manager to guide the development & enhancement of two core software products that will form the core of a future, integrated software suite for marketing agencies & their clients. You will work in close partnership with SVP Global Productized Services, who defines the overarching product strategy & delivery from a business perspective. This roles primary focus will be on ensuring the products are sustainable, modular, & extensible, while aligning the efforts of UX, design, & development teams to these goals. Proficiency in Agile & Scrum methodologiesparticularly in driving time to value for end usersis paramount. Familiarity with API-first web architectures is essential, & exposure to generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs) is a strong plus.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Sustainability, Modularity & Extensibility
- Own the architectural roadmap to ensure the products are built for long-term sustainability & flexibility.
- Define & champion best practices around modular design, extensible APIs, & scalable infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the business sponsor to turn high-level business strategy into actionable product roadmaps that support a multi-product suite.
- Agile Product Management & Time to Value
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) with offshore & vendor teams to optimize the delivery cadence & ensure efficient collaboration.
- Establish clear, measurable objectives for each sprint to maximize time to value, balancing business needs with technical feasibility.
- Continuously iterate on & refine the product backlog to maintain momentum, prioritize high-impact features, & adapt to changing business conditions.
- Alignment with Business & Stakeholders
- Work closely with the SVP Global productized services to translate strategic goals & capabilities into requirements & day-to-day priorities for UX, design, & development teams.
- Manage & facilitate ongoing communication with the Strategic stakeholders within the global leadership (CTO, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Transformation Officer) to validate requirements & product direction.
- Provide weekly updates on product progress, highlighting key decisions, trade-offs, & successes.
- Multi-Product Roadmap & Integration
- Develop a clear product roadmap for two core products, ensuring they can be seamlessly expanded into a larger, integrated software solution.
- Coordinate efforts across multiple teams to align timelines, deliverables, & feature sets.
- Develop a release calendar based on the product roadmap, deliver the product to this release calendar
- Advocate for API-first methodologies to maximize interoperability with other solutions & external platforms.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Guide UX, design, & development teams to ensure all work adheres to the strategic imperatives of sustainability, modularity, & extensibility.
- Translate product requirements into well-defined user stories & acceptance criteria, keeping engineering & design teams focused on high-value deliverables.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecyclefrom discovery & design through iterative development, testing, & releaseusing Agile best practices.
- User Experience & Adoption
- Drive user-centric research & usability testing to validate that product features address real-world needs of agencies & clients, with groups within the agency
- Partner with UI/UX teams to ensure product interfaces are intuitive & easily adoptable for diverse agency & client user groups
- Develop & execute structured onboarding & training strategies that encourage strong user engagement & retention.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Define & monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, particularly in terms of extensibility, modular design, & time to value.
- Measure sprint burndown & budget use against product deliverables
- Use data analysis to identify trends, validate product decisions, & inform iterative enhancements.
- Present product performance insights to leadership, highlighting opportunities for further innovation & optimization.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify & manage dependencies, risks, & challenges that could affect product sustainability, time-to-market, or overall value delivery.
- Ensure product compliance with industry regulations (including data privacy & security standards) & specific contractual obligations are upheld.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Maths, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or Masters degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on product management experience, preferably with B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- Proven success in full-lifecycle product managementfrom ideation to launch, iteration, & eventual scale-up.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple product lines or modules, with a focus on creating interoperable solutions.
- Experience of managing offshore development partners & teams successfully
- In-depth knowledge of Agile & Scrum frameworks & best practices.
- Experience with planning & executing sprints, sprint retrospectives, & maintaining product backlogs to ensure the team delivers maximum value quickly.
- Track record of effectively balancing time to value with stakeholder requirements, resource constraints, & product quality.
- Required experience in a media or digital function, whether within an advertising/marketing agency or on the client side.
- Understanding of campaign management, digital marketing workflows, & the agency-client relationship.
- Skilled at translating business requirements into technical workflows that emphasize modular, extensible design.
- Familiarity with API-first architectures & modern web technologies, ensuring products are ready for seamless integration.
- Exposure to generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., ChatGPT, GPT-4) is highly advantageous.
- Competent in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, BI platforms) to inform product decisions & measure impact.
- Experience setting & measuring against metrics (KPIs, OKRs) to drive continuous improvement & demonstrate product ROI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, & collaboration abilities to coordinate efforts among business sponsors, leadership, & cross-functional teams.
- Solid project management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset that thrives in dynamic environments & consistently drives results.
- Matrix management of stakeholders at all levels of seniority within the organization
