Squarespace is looking for an Analyst to join our Markets & Customers Analytics team.

You will power our market strategy, campaign performance, product adoption & customer growth through innovative measurement, reporting, analysis & insight. Our growing portfolio of markets & products means you'll address complex questions to influence business results.

You are data-fluent, outcomes-oriented, curious, proactive & collaborative.

This is a hybrid role working from our New York City headquarters (3 days per week). You will report to the Manager of our Markets & Customers Analytics team.

You'll Get To

• Partner with Marketing & Sales, Product, Data Science & Engineering teams to translate business needs into analytical requirements, solutions & insights
• Define metrics & perform analyses to uncover trends, performance drivers & outliers for high value customer growth initiatives
• Create dashboards to help partners answer recurring questions & act on metrics using self-service tools
• Present results to partners at different levels
• Promote best practices among peers & partners

Who We're Looking For

• 3+ years in a Business Intelligence, Analytics or Data Science role
• Experience defining metrics, analyzing data & applying frameworks to inform decisions
• Experience translating results into clear stories & recommendations
• Experience building dashboards (e.g. Looker, Tableau) & working with large datasets using SQL; knowledge of dbt a plus
• Experience running experiments
• Knowledge of statistical concepts, such as experimental design, hypothesis testing & regression, & tools such as Python
• Knowledge of B2B or premium customer acquisition, marketing or product development a plus
• Strong communicator & presenter, comfortable handling open-ended questions
• Outcomes-oriented, curious, proactive & collaborative

Cash Compensation Range: $85,500 - $138,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
