We are seeking a Senior React Native & React Engineer for our Conversion team, a team that helps users find value in the product & choose the plan offering that matches their needs. You will join a talented team & as a Senior Engineer you will get to lead mobile projects & help implement web projects, as well as influence the teams operation & culture.   

You'll Get To

• Lead & facilitate new feature development in our React Native mobile & web app.
• Collaborate with other engineers & cross-functional partners to deliver strong customer-focused experiences & understand the why of feature development.
• Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. automated testing, code reviews, & writing scalable, pragmatic code) for developing our high volume, highly available applications.
• Mentor & guide other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning & improvement.
• Participate in code reviews & provide constructive feedback to peers.

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years experience in building React Native mobile apps that have been deployed to app stores.
• Expert knowledge of React Native & state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Knowledge of App Store policies & the mobile store lifecycle including store policies, publishing, deployments, & provisioning.
• Proficient with TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML & CSS3
• Ability to lead large projects along with other engineers & provide valuable code review
• A sincere commitment to crafting readable & reliable code
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
• Strong understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines: Fastlane & Github actions.

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
