Since then, Harrys has expanded to Canada & Europe, developed relationships with retailers such as Target & Walmart, expanded our grooming brand into a personal care powerhouse, launched two new brands including Flamingo & Cat Person, & made our first brand acquisition with Lum.

About The Team

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Harrys is a part of Global Finance & is responsible for analyzing, presenting & forecasting the financial & business performance of the company. The team plays a critical role in enabling senior management to make fast, data-driven strategic decisions across our multi-brand & global portfolio of brands. 

About The Role

We are looking for a high-performing analytical & collaborative person to join our Global Financial Planning & Analysis team. This position will be a dedicated business partner to our North American Flamingo Branded business encompassing wholesale & digital channels for the US & Canada. This person will help drive cross-functional alignment to enable smarter & more financially-informed decision making by helping the brand team to identify & implement strategies to help drive short & long-term financial performance in partnership with the Flamingo Brand GM & North American commercial leadership team. This includes supporting the business & financial planning process, pulling together a holistic view of investments across our commercial channels, & identifying & recommending solutions as appropriate. This is an opportunity that affords significant exposure & impact on senior-level decision making.

What Youll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own financial performance management for the North American Flamingo Branded P&L by providing insights around key historical & forecasted drivers 
    • Partner with business to drive long-term & near-term performance, building high quality plans & outlooks, analyzing actual performance & actioning against opportunities & mitigating risks to deliver results 
    • Track & analyze monthly performance by channel/customer, by key P&L line item & own the presentation & analysis of financial results & forecasts
    • Partner with the retail sales team & digital teams to improve promotional & marketing effectiveness & drive revenues & grow margins, align on Gross-to-Net numbers (GTN) with key stakeholders on a monthly basis, & understand the reasons for deviations from Forecast, Budget & Prior Year
  • Improve the way we think about, anticipate & reflect commercial decisions by providing financial direction & guidance around innovation, channel distribution, & capital allocation
    • Guide & support cross-functional teams on specific New Product Innovation business cases
    • Partner with analytics, sales & marketing teams on pre & post launch analysis for new product innovation
    • Bridge our long-term planning, brand planning, & the operating Budget for Flamingo Brand; drive forecast cycles
    • Support the Flamingo GM in managing the NA branded P&L & take part in business reviews & ad-hoc financial analysis 
    • Forecast & manage operating expenses for your segment 
  • Flex into additional growth opportunities by supporting the broader North American Harrys & Flamingo BU in consolidating, modeling & building as part of our long-term planning process, with the opportunity to support special projects for the segment

Background & Experience

  • 4+ years of total experience, including at least 2 years with relevance to financial management
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting or mathematics preferred 
  • Solid understanding of P&L & profitability analysis & strong working knowledge of CPG financials preferred (e.g. sales & marketing finance & KPIs/drivers)
  • Experience using an ERP & planning system
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial partners
  • Strong communication, influencing & relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, managing multiple & changing priorities
  • High level of motivation & energy with desire to roll up sleeves moving from the high level to the detail as necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, & contend with complexity
  • Strong business acumen & can do attitude
  • Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Compelling influencing & communication skills, & ability to lead informal teams
  • Sense of humor -- we take our work seriously & ourselves un-seriously

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size & industry, & are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits & our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $90,800-$113,500, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidates location, skill level & experience.
