Taboola is looking for an Account Director, SMB Publishers with a passion for digital media, to manage our Publisher AM team & drive revenue growth for our US business.

As an Account Director, SMB Publishers US in our New York Office, youll play a vital role in the continued success & growth of Taboola's SMB Publisher AM Team. A team responsible for growing & retaining our Small & Medium Publishers in the US & Canada. The team helps our publisher clients engage & retain loyal visitors whilst generating revenue direct to the bottom line. These long-term partnerships are how Taboola now reaches almost half the worlds internet population & what attracts our premium advertisers to spend with us. 

You will be responsible for driving operational effectiveness & best practices while being hands-on in managing a team of revenue-driven Account Managers. Each AM manages between 30 & 50 ComScore 500 to 5000 publishers. The team has a deep technical knowledge about digital advertising, so this is a great opportunity to work with the best! To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • BA/BS required
  • 5+ years in client success management 
  • At least one successful people management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to collect & analyze business intelligence data & to develop an ongoing process improvement program in order to streamline business operations
  • Advanced sales skills & proven track record in pipeline management & deal closing
  • Comfortable working with internal stakeholders including Customer Support, Product Management & Publisher Sales teams
  • High attention to detail & well organized, thrives in a multitasking environment & adjusts & prioritizes accordingly
  • Impeccable written & verbal communication skills
  • Basic familiarity with front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

As an Account Director, SMB Publishers US, youll bring value by:

  • Managing a team of 4 Account Manager & coach them in achieving their activity goals
  • Owning & executing against quarterly revenue growth targets
  • Managing & optimizing the onboarding & maintenance of 150+ small to medium publisher partnerships 
  • Leading projects & initiatives with a focus on improving productivity & simplifying processes throughout the SMB team
  • Actively managing custom renewal terms with larger publishers within existing book of business 
  • Developing & refining engagement models for SMB publisher partners 
  • Understanding client KPIs & identifying upsell opportunities
  • Identifying trends through data analysis & market conditions to pinpoint highest value optimizations
  • Actively collaborating with peers in a team-oriented culture & assisting other internal groups
  • Overseeing an existing team of SMB Account Managers
