Senior Media Buyer, Programmatic

You Have:

  • 2+ Years working within Programmatic media buying
  • 1+ Years of digital media buying, negotiation & implementation experience in an agency environment is required
  • DSP knowledge in DV360 & The Trade Desk related platforms.
  • Campaign ownership: campaign setup, ad creation, QA, pacing/budget management, optimizations
  • Reporting & analytics: ability to craft insights & proficient in excel
  • Aptitude for mathematical concepts & an understanding of the digital marketplace
  • Avid explorer & user of multi-digital vehicles; knowledge of the relationship opportunities between onandoffline media
  • Able to understand application of, use of industry tools such as Prisma, ComScore, Nielsen, AdViews, eMarketer, etc.

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate, Digital Activation is the daytoday steward on the business & is on the front lines of developing & activating both tactical & custom digital recommendations to meet our clients goals. They are a Digital native, curious about unique emerging opportunities & prepared to provide a pointofview, recommendation, & optimization recommendations based on campaign performance. They are the primary contributor to the development of the Associate(s), guiding them through the fundamentals of the planning process (inclusive of partner evaluation, negotiation, reporting, optimization, insight generation, billing, etc.), while also being a key touch-point to stakeholders across the organization & the client for day to day management & support.

Digital Native

  • Craft + execute innovative & tactical plans that deliver against & the overarching brand & business objectives
  • Evaluate & assess vendors using proprietary research tools & industry knowledge
  • Negotiate & execute media buys, collaborate with digital partners to develop test & learn opportunities
  • Participate or lead campaign activation & provide client updates on campaign status

Marketplace Navigator

  • Be up to speed & fluent on the ever-evolving digital landscape & industry trends
  • Attend publisher meetings & develop expertise in digital opportunities, new technologies, digital platforms, innovation, research insights & capabilities, industry learning, etc.
  • Collaborate with inter-agency teams & external partners (such as creative agencies, PR, etc.) to manage client needs across all campaign layers

Process Driven

  • Responsible & accountable for providing visibility into RFP & plan submissions within the internal planning process to identify opportunities for added client benefits & savings
  • Manage trafficking process with outside agencies/publishers, perform campaign QA, retrieve creative specifications from publishers, & coordinate with creative agencies for asset delivery & campaign launch
  • Maintain the client billing process with the Associates, Digital Activation

Analytical

  • Analyze & optimize plans based on KPIs & surface insights from data for client reporting
  • Develop & present client facing reports on a variety of topics (ie results, competitive, billing, etc.)

Solutions & Priority Oriented

  • Help navigate challenges, attention driven & find solutions & not be afraid to ask for help
  • Stay on top of client deliverables & ensures on time delivery
  • Develop & train the Associates, via mentorship, arrange training sessions & manage their daily workflow/tasks

The salary range for this role, based in New York is $80,000$100,000 (USD) & we continually review ranges to address skills, experience & markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but arent limited to, a candidates experience & skills relative to the scope & responsibilities of the position.
