We are looking for an experienced professional responsible for the execution of the procurement process & conducting supplier management activities. Role will function as the internal point of contact for key business functions & will report to the Global Controller. 

The key objective of this position is to understand cost drivers of spend, ensure strict adherence to the procure to pay process, leverage buying power while ensuring required service quality & supplier performance are maintained with a high degree of customer (internal business units) satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate internal stakeholder & vendor relations.
  • Manage Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order creation
  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, & approval workflows.
  • Ensure timely & accurate processing of vendor invoices & employee expense reports.
  • Manage payment runs (ACH, wire transfers) & optimize payment schedules.
  • Provide qualitative & quantitative analysis to aid in metrics-driven negotiations & vendor selection.
  • Develop & manage reporting tools & excel models, tracking & reporting key metrics.
  • Assist with the preparation & review of vendor contracts, quotes, & proposals ensuring bilateral commercial terms & conditions.
  • Prepare & hold business reviews with stakeholders to review vendor performance, future opportunities, & challenges
  • Partner with Legal & Security teams during new vendor onboarding to ensure business requirements are met at engagement onset.
  • Assist with improving processes, developing playbooks, & automation across contract management & lifecycle
  • Resolve all inbound vendor inquiries about order fulfillment, payment issues, & general account questions
  • Manage cash outflow forecast, including managing procurement budgets & control costs.
  • Use AP software (Airbase) & NetSuite systems to streamline processes
  • Prepare AP aging reports & accruals for month-end close

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree, with 5+ years experience in a Finance or Procurement function
  • High degree of accuracy & attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment
  • Metrics driven, with the ability to exercise judgment & operate independently.
  • Ability to prioritize requests & communicate effectively in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven experience creating proposals, evaluating vendors & providing recommended improvements to a vendor procurement process design for a fast-growing company
  • Proficiency in Airbase & NetSuite is desired
  • Ability to come into our NYC office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday)

Compensation: Conductor maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. 

The NYC base salary range for this role is currently $80,000 - $115,000 per year.
