The Product team at Squarespace is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the top of funnel growth team, managing the entry points to our core products & guiding users to the best starting point for their goals when they land on Squarespace.com.
Squarespace.com is the starting point for most of our customers today & understanding those users, their needs, & beginning to personalize their experience will be among the first challenges you'll tackle. As things evolve, you will lead much of our strategy into transforming into a multi-product platform with many diverse starting points.
You will report to the Senior Group Product Manager of Growth & work from our New York City office (hybrid).
You'll Get To...
- Create & prioritize a roadmap rooted in data, informed by multiple sources & justified by return on investment
- Guide product developmentfrom conception to launchwith consideration for more than just your specific team, but also adjacent teams & the broader SQSP ecosystem
- Be a single mutually supporting-force with your partners in design, engineering, UX research, & product analytics
- Develop an understanding of SMB customers by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews, & usability testing
- Partner with Marketing & Creative to develop compelling content for new product launches, with consideration for creative campaigns, SEO impact & user experience
- Work with other PMs & data partners (analytics, data science, marketing) to monitor & evaluate product performance
- Set OKRs for your teams with your engineering & design counterparts & contribute to the process of setting broader group goals
- Influence & inform team/group strategy through passionate & well-reasoned presentation of ideas
Who We're Looking For
- 6-8+ years of product management experience, managing software products from creation through launch & iteration in an Agile environment
- A nuanced understanding of the methods of modern product discovery, product delivery, & user segmentation
- Proven track record of leading successful products, & a focus on driving business results
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to align different teams around achieving business goals & outstanding user experiences

Cash Compensation Range: $153,500 - $247,250 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
