Job Description
A successful candidate will be passionate about advocating for the customer, while also having a business, growth & product-focused perspective. In this role, the individual will help support the broader Consumer & Product Insights team & alongside cross-functional teams to understand key business objectives & customer questions; design creative research & analytical approaches that enable our team to move with speed; analyze multiple data sources; & drive insights to action through strong storytelling with bold recommendations. This individual should be comfortable translating data into a clear story & presenting out results to external & internal stakeholders. Experience with product research & a range of agile insights tools & analytical approaches will be valuable. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Consumer & Product Insights and will be a part of the larger Product Innovation team.
You Will
- Support a variety of research initiatives including whitespace identification, macro trend analysis, customer analytics, NPD innovation pipeline research, customer segmentation, foundational brand research, product & recipe analytics, competitive landscape, new category launches, product development, etc.
- Partner with stakeholders from Product, Culinary, Marketing, etc. to gain perspective on customer challenges & cross-functional considerations
- Execute learning plans by identifying appropriate research methodologies & analytical techniques to answer questions with quality & speed
- Analyze & synthesize multiple data sources, determine the key insights & identify business implications & recommendations
Solve challenging problems with incoming data from multiple sources (primary research, third-party data, trend monitoring, internal behavioral sales & product satisfaction data, etc.) for a holistic view on the customer to derive actionable insights
- Communicate findings & recommendations in a clear & compelling way to inspire others to use data to take action

You have
- 1-2 years experience in consumer or product insights & analytics
- Basic SQL knowledge preferred
- Experience with a broad range of qualitative & quantitative research methods
- Ability to have a thoughtful discussion & recommendation on research & analytical design & methodology to address an insights brief or business question
- Passion for driving clear insights paired with business context to drive action
- Bonus: Experience in CPG, D2C, Food Tech or Retail companies
