As a Frontend Engineer at Via, youll be responsible for building, shipping, & improving new & existing frontend tools. You'll play a crucial role in transforming complex technical processes into seamless, user-friendly interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams from design to release to enhance operational excellence for the Via team & for our end users.
What Youll Do:
- Architect, design, & develop new frontend tools with a focus on scalability & maintainability
- Collaborate closely with talented engineers to create visionary UI/UX products & ensure seamless feature integration
- Improve the user experience across Via's platform
- Refine & implement visually appealing, user-centric interfaces; build pixel perfect products
- Write robust, clean, & documented code, ensuring long-term quality & maintainability
- Research & integrate new technologies, frameworks, & tools
Who You Are:
- BS degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 4 years of frontend development experience, with a with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong experience with JavaScript
- Experience with React, Redux
- Knowledge of design & UX
- Attention to detail with an analytical mindset & outstanding organizational skills
- Effective communication skills & a willingness to learn & collaborate with a geographically distributed team
Compensation & Benefits:
- Final salary will be determined by the candidates experience, knowledge, & skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 per year
