What youll do

DVs programmatic product offerings help advertisers maximize their media investment to avoid bidding on inventory that doesnt meet their brands standards & objectives. DV products help maintain quality standards for media buys & further drive the performance of campaigns. Additionally, DV provides transparent reporting into the programmatic supply chain, helping advertisers better understand where their media is transacting.

We are seeking an intern who is an analytical thinker interested in learning more about DVs programmatic offerings & key products, the ad tech ecosystem & enjoys data analysis. This role is a 10-week, full-time, that runs from June 11th - August 16th, 2024.

As an intern, you will be embedded in the programmatic product team, gaining exposure to a talented product, engineering & account management teams. You will work across multiple teams at DV in order to help gain insights & analyze information regarding DVs programmatic offerings. These insights will help inform future feature enhancements & new products across the DV programmatic products. In the process you will learn about the lifecycle of agile product development & managing & coordinating work across multiple cross functional teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop your own subject matter expertise on specific offerings through a combination of guided onboarding, discovery through documentation, & self-guided use of our tool set.
  • Understand & propose additional KPIs & areas for analysis that can contribute to the product strategy.
  • Write SQL queries & extract data from internal systems to perform independent data analysis.
  • Create Pivot Tables & analysis with Excel.
  • Create short presentations & present your findings in smaller groups for iterative feedback.
  • Suggest product improvements & provide recommendations based on analysis findings

  • Basic understanding of digital advertising & interested in learning more about the ad tech industry
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Drive, & Docs
  • Basic proficiency in SQL & Microsoft Excel
