This role is in the organization to support the delivery discipline in managing multiple deliverables for various small to complex projects.

The core expectation of this role is to define & scope projects of all sizes & complexities, lead the work & team with strong relationships across disciplines & engagement with clients.

Career Development is typically provided by Project Director [or above] but can be modified to suit an account and/or office location. This role may provide career development to emerging talent.

Nature of this role of role is that of a manager, emerging leader, & contributor.

Activities Performed

  • Lead & collaborate to ensure the work stays on brief, client needs & feedback are understood & addressed, & the work delivered is of high quality
  • Lead a variety of small to large projects with budgets likely under $1MM & with teams of 20 or fewer
  • Act as main POC for the clients, handling communications with the intent of client satisfaction
  • Complete meeting notes & distribute to all team members, build basic-to-complex schedules, continue scoping & managing small-medium scale projects, begin leading projects that are not repeatable
  • Own budget management for all projects
  • Identify & communicate risk/implications & mitigation strategies
  • Build strong relationships with the team across all disciplines
  • Identify & act on organic account growth opportunities in partnership with Client Services
  • Perform analysis & reporting on project health, attending finance meetings to inform account health (Metrics include: Remaining forecast, forecast to completion, burn (actuals) to date, % project progress, % budget utilized, write off %)
  • Champion project management fundamentals across all assigned projects, across timeline, action logs, change logs, risk logs, appropriate kick-off & closure processes
  • Facilitate (when appropriate) in project retrospective & sunsetting process
  • Act as a beacon of best practice within the account & discipline
  • Mentor emerging talent & provide career development aligned with CM expectations
  • Be an active & visible presence in the office & online, shares at Town Halls, All Hands, Snack N Learns
  • Actively & visibly champion the work & team
  • Participate in global Project Delivery initiatives & bring forward ideas on how to improve processes & build community within the discipline
