About the Role

The Head of Corporate Applications & Systems will oversee existing & future corporate applications which enable iCapitals business functions.  This role will establish & execute the corporate applications strategy, work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, peer technology groups, & third-party vendors to enable iCapitals departments, which includes physical locations in the US, Canada, Europe, & Asia. iCapital is a cloud only technology company so the person in this position  must be familiar with enterprise-class cloud software solutions (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Ceridian Dayforce, Expensify, Palo Alto, Prisma, AWS, Azure, Okta). This role will set the strategy for corporate applications data & systems integration, manage deployed platforms, & work with stakeholders when selecting & onboarding new capabilities for the company.

The Head of Corporate Applications & Systems will report to the Head of Risk Management & Corporate Solutions & will oversee SaaS solutions at iCapital. This includes hands-on work with senior staff to understand & address gaps & weaknesses, & deploy new capabilities across iCapital.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Technology Leadership: Develop & execute the corporate applications & systems strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring that technology initiatives support the company's growth & competitiveness in the FinTech sector.
• Corporate Systems Oversight: Manage the design, implementation, & maintenance of mission-critical enterprise systems, including HR, Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, Finance, CRM, & Risk Management tools & platforms.
• Technology Infrastructure Management: Work closely with the Head of Corporate Infrastructure & Technology to ensure applications & systems operate seamlessly on the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, & cloud services are scalability, reliability, & secure to handle sensitive financial data.
• Regulatory & Compliance, & Risk Management: Ensure that applications & systems comply with stringent financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR, etc.), oversee compliance audits, & implement robust risk management & cybersecurity measures to protect against threats.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, fintech partners, & third-party service providers. Select & collaborate with vendors that align with the company's needs & regulatory requirements.
• Data Governance & Analytics: Coordinate with other teams to oversee data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, privacy, & security. Utilize advanced data analytics tools to derive insights for informed decision-making & to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Innovation & Technology Adoption: Identify emerging technologies relevant to iCapitals services, evaluate their potential applications, & implement innovative solutions to improve products, services, or operational processes.
• Budget & Resource Allocation: Develop & manage applicable components of iCapitals Technology budget, allocating resources effectively to meet the company's technological needs while optimizing costs.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of IT & project management professionals, providing strategic guidance, setting objectives, & fostering a culture of innovation & collaboration within the Technology department that supports 1200 globally distributed employees.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supervisory & technical experience, managing enterprise level SaaS solutions & end-user computing environments
• 5+ years managing a fully cloud-based, corporate applications & computing environment
• Able to drive results, lead multi-disciplinary teams, influence others, & foster collaboration
• Able to travel to throughout the U.S. & to international offices as needed
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both senior business users & cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions
• Results-oriented & business-savvy professional with a strong end-user technology background
• Strong process orientation, project management experience, problem solving ability, & strategic mindset
• Analytical, detail- & service-oriented
• General familiarity with information security best practices
• Bachelors degree in related field
• Experience managing Salesforce, NetSuite, Ceridian, Fusion, Palo Alto, Prisma, AWS, Azure, Okta, Coupa is a plus
• Experience leading & managing a dynamic team

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $260,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, & virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, & unlimited paid time off (PTO).
