Media Supervisor

Are you ready to take your career to the next level by stepping into the Media Supervisor role? The Media Supervisor role is responsible for leading the planning, management, & execution of clients media strategy in order to maximize client business/marketing objectives. This person must have in depth knowledge of all digital channels including display, programmatic, video, mobile, social, & other emerging channels. Experience in OOH & Print, is a must! This person will be a strategic leader both internally & in client presentation. This role will work closely with Marketing Science & Strategy to align media efforts to other marketing efforts. They will be responsible for owning the day-to-day client & key third-party vendor relationships. They will manage & distribute work across the associate planners, planners, & senior planners on the team.



You will:

  • Coordinate & oversee the management, trafficking, optimization, & reporting of all campaign initiatives.
  • Manage the billing team & provide final approval on all billing needs
  • Oversee & approve all media campaign set-up & execution, including working with other internal teams & clients to secure deliverables.
  • Provide strategic insights & optimizations for all client reports
  • Research & prepare new information for paid media plans, RFPs, & presentations.
  • Evaluate, build & maintain relationships in the display & emerging media community.
  • Stay up to date on & advise the Media team on the latest trends in interactive marketing / media & developments.
  • Lead the development of Point of View (POV) documents on new trends or special opportunities.
  • Evaluate client needs & escalate needs or issues as they arrive to leadership
  • Drive audience insights & channel strategy
  • Sell in media initiatives to client
  • Integrate with neighboring disciplines (MKS, Strategy, Creative) on overall campaign direction

You have:

  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Media Planner, Trafficker and/or relevant role in Media
  • In-depth understanding of search media campaign management & optimization practices
  • Proven to be a proactive self-starter with experience leading large accounts within an agency in an integrated fashion (collaboration, data sharing, co-leading efforts focused on client satisfaction, growth, performance vs KPIs)
  • Outstanding ability to manage & develop a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of stress tolerance
  • Excellent relationship building with internal & external partners
  • Strong communication skills & are able to present & articulate persuasive & cohesive presentations & points-of-view
  • Proven to be a trusted advisor to senior clients & are seen as a vital part of their team;
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, & self-motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relations including handling difficult client situations gaining optimal results for both the client & the company
  • Full knowledge of Google Campaign Manager trafficking & reporting, DFP knowledge a plus.
  • Previous experience with eMarketer, Nielsen ComScore, Mintel, Forrester, etc.
  • Familiarity with Google ad products bonus points if youre familiar with Google AdWords.
  • Detailed understanding of media & the digital landscape.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard & rich media ad trafficking software for display, video, mobile & other emerging channels.
  • Familiarity with & passion for media for TV/Radio

The salary range for this role, based in New York is $50,000 - 95,000 (USD) & we continually review ranges to address skills, experience & markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but arent limited to, a candidates experience & skills relative to the scope & responsibilities of the position.
