As the Business Development Manager, Offline Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of partners & driving the growth of our program. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, & onboarding strategic brand partners who provide scale to our highly profitable offline marketing package insert program. This role requires a proactive & resourceful individual with excellent communication skills & a strong understanding of partnership development.

We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a pulse on emerging trends & brands, & understands how to create meaningful cross-brand collaborations. Additionally, the candidate must be a detail oriented, organized self-starter who is personable & articulate while communicating with external & internal teams, agency partners, & vendors.

 

You will

  • Be Comfortable in Full Cycle Sales: Lead all aspects of the business development & sales process including outbound prospecting, follow up, proposal delivery, & closing.
  • Identify Prospective Partners: Research & identify potential partners including e-commerce businesses, subscription box services, & retailers who could benefit from our package insert program. Partner with our Brand & Legal team to ensure new partners align with HelloFresh Group brand & strategy.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Develop outreach lists & strategy while tracking progress via Hubspot. Initiate contact with prospective partners through various channels such as email, phone calls, & networking events. Develop & nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs & how our program can add value to their business.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations with prospective partners, addressing any concerns or objections they may have & highlighting the benefits of partnering with us. Manage the NDA & contract negotiation process & ensure agreements are finalized promptly.
  • Onboarding: Work closely with the brand partners to facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our program requirements & how to effectively launch & maintain a package insert program with HelloFresh.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with partners to ensure satisfaction & address any issues or concerns that may arise. Act as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries & support requests.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor partner performance & analyze data to identify areas for improvement & optimization. Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies to maximize partner success & drive program growth.
  • Manage Campaign Set-up: Work with internal & external stakeholders to coordinate campaign execution.

At a minimum, you have...

  • Experience in full cycle sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying & onboarding partners in the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals & drive revenue growth.
  • Existing relationships in the e-commerce space.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo & other relevant tools for managing partner relationships & tracking performance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data & derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
