Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Product Manager, Service Operations to join our Product team.

About the role

Oscar Product is an innovative, fast-paced team using technology & design to revolutionize healthcare. Our work on tech spans several areas: building innovative consumer experiences, technology & infrastructure, expanding into new markets, creating better ways for healthcare providers to interact with patients, & optimizing internal operations & processes. We work alongside a talented set of technologists with Product, Engineering, & Design to form a tight-knit, high-performing team. 

As a Product Manager, Service Operations, you will drive & manage the products we produce to support our Service Operations teams. You will be a quick learner, able to learn & understand many complex domains like claims & payments. With an eye for optimization, you will work with stakeholders to explore & discover the right opportunities to prioritize, work with designers & users to understand their workflows & devise solutions with your team that move the needle on key metrics.

You will report to a Group Product Manager.

Pay Transparency: 

The base pay for this role is: $131,200 - $172,200 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Define & execute on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for product investments that power platforms
  • Define OKRs & KPIs to measure business & operational impacts, & relentlessly identify improvements
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, & operations partners to gather insights on user needs & ship innovative functionality that improves operational & financial efficiency goals
  • Articulate crisp & thorough requirements & clearly communicate them across stakeholders, incorporating data & user research insights
  • Problem solve issues across teams to quickly diagnose root cause & move to resolution factoring in trade-offs on speed, scalability & quality
  • Spearhead complex initiatives with ability to influence without authority. Manage timelines, cross-functional team accountability, & risk identification
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience collaborating cross-functionally among engineers, designers, operations experts, & others in a Product Management or Product Management-adjacent role.
  • 2+ years of experience in driving rigorous prioritization processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with tech systems & understand basic technology infrastructure such as backend services, database relationships, & leveraging database tools such as SQL.

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
