Were looking for a Software Engineer to join our Developer Experience team to accelerate building & scaling our innovative systems that support our growing identity platform. In this role, you will be focused on software delivery & empowering our internal engineering teams to build scalable self-service solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will approach challenges with an eye toward reliability, simplicity, & scalability.

What You Will Do:

• Be a product owner for our developer productivity infrastructure, gathering feedback, requirements, & pain-points from across Engineering & building solutions to solve for them
• Build the paved-road for all engineers to build & deploy scalable & reliable infrastructure at the click of a button
• Continue to advance our compute platform (Kubernetes) with new functionality & features
• Continue to advance our build & delivery ecosystem, leveraging services from providers such as GitHub & AWS
• Work across engineering to be a champion for engineering excellence & standardization

Who You Are:

• A software engineer with deep CI/CD, infrastructure, & platform experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD & GitHub Actions
• Experience writing production grade software in a modern language, such as Python
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Cloud Native design principles in cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience with a modern IaC tool, such as Pulumi
• A strong product & user-centric mindset
• Bonus points for experience supporting a Java ecosystem & experience with automated canary analysis, with tools such as Kayenta
• Desire to continuously improve systems & environments

The base salary range for this role is $155,555 - $195,000, depending on levels of skills & experience.

The base salary range represents the low & high end of CLEARs salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience & performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEARs total compensation package for employees & other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
