As the Senior Commercial Manager at HelloFresh, you'll lead efforts to optimize customer retention & lifetime value. You'll meticulously track & analyze key drivers, translating complex data into actionable insights for our growth & product marketing teams. This pivotal role directly informs P&L decisions through commercial modeling & ad-hoc analysis, enhancing customer success & driving sustainable growth. You'll report directly to the Marketing Director of HelloFresh & work cross-functionally across marketing & product teams.

You will...

  • Retention & Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Optimization: Proactively track & analyze key drivers of brand retention & CLV. Identify opportunities for improvement within our growth strategy - at the channel & ad level - & partner with our growth & product marketing teams for implementation.
  • Cohort Success Analytics: Conduct in-depth analyses of leading customer success metrics, connecting the dots between marketing metrics (campaign, messages, audience) & product metrics (NPS, culinary preferences). Translate into actionable steps for campaign managers or product marketers.
  • Ad-Hoc Commercial Analysis: Provide critical analytical support for various ad-hoc commercial initiatives, including commercial modelling & informing P&L decisions.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Communication: Translate complex data into clear, concise, & actionable insights for stakeholders. Prepare & present compelling slides for formal presentations, while also possessing the agility to conduct quick, ad-hoc analyses & communicate findings efficiently (e.g., via Slack).

You have...

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably within consulting, marketing analytics or commercial finance.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proven ability to independently extract, clean, analyze, & interpret data, with exceptional proficiency in Excel & a strong capability to read & understand business intelligence (BI) dashboards. SQL proficiency is a plus.
  • Analytical Rigor: You possess exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills, with a clear track record of tackling complex business questions & delivering impactful solutions.
  • Business Acumen: You have a strong understanding of marketing principles, the customer lifecycle, & key commercial metrics, particularly within an e-commerce or subscription-based business.
  • Agile & Collaborative Communicator: You thrive in fast-paced environments. You can understand data problems from a short prompt & structure the analysis. You're an excellent verbal & written communicator, adept at translating complex analytical findings for diverse audiences, & a natural collaborator who partners effectively with cross-functional teams.
