The Role

The Sr. Software Engineer II will join DVs Software Development team & will use industry standards & latest technologies to enhance our programmatic & platform products. DoubleVerify runs mission-critical systems that process billions of real-time transactions a day, hence performance & scalability considerations would guide you throughout each project. You will experiment with new & cutting-edge technologies designed for Big Data & Ad Tech solutions.

What youll do

• Join a great team of motivated engineers that develops critical high performance, large scale services for DoubleVerify's Programmatic integrations & Platform product
• Work closely with the Product team to understand product requirements
• Oversee end to end integrations with the rapidly increasing list of Programmatic Platforms
• Write solid code with the focus on high performance for services supporting high throughput & low latency (< 10ms response time)
• Design, develop & test new features & improve existing systems
• Focus on increasing the test & monitoring coverage & automation
• Help create large-scale distributed systems which process billions of transactions per day with strict SLAs
• Follow agile methodologies & work in a fast-paced environment where one can quickly see the results of the work being performed

Who you are

•  Expert Java skills - backend systems, 5 years or more of Java experience
• Good understanding of the challenges faced in distributed computing - REST APIs, fault tolerance, scalability etc
• Strong knowledge of data structures & algorithms
• Good knowledge of SQL & RDBMS
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Experience with working in a Linux environment
• Experience within AdTech industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Python or C#

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.

The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $99,000 - $197,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
