This Sr. Analyst position reports to the FP&A Senior Manager, & will work closely with the rest of the Finance team as well as with various teams across the company. We are looking for a self-starter who possesses strong analytical skills & communicates findings articulately to a wide variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is able to analyze large datasets, be proactive & enthusiastic as they dig into the data & trends, have a desire to understand the business, as well as show initiative by identifying & solving problems.
What Youll Do
- Assume ownership of various monthly revenue & expense models, ensuring accurate reporting, & provide support in the analyses used for budgeting & forecasting purposes.
- Maintain & prepare weekly, monthly, & quarterly materials for financial review meetings, highlighting variances to Forecast/Plan/Prior Year. Present findings to senior business leaders, clearly communicating changes, drivers, & future trends.
- Build & analyze dashboards in Excel & data visualization tools, drawing conclusions & insights to provide recommendations & proposals for Finance & across the organization.
- Assist with the investigation, evaluation, & assessment of data, while partnering with business intelligence to develop standardized reporting & dashboards
- Strive to improve processes, reporting, procedures, & assist the team with ad hoc requests as needed. Utilize insights to drive forecasting improvements & operating decisions.
- Support the enterprise-wide annual budget process, including consolidating inputs across the organization & delivering an informed perspective on results.
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- 4+ years of related experience with budget planning, financial modeling, & decision analytics (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity)
- Demonstrate proactive ownership of financial processes, taking initiative to identify & resolve discrepancies before they impact business operations
- Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple competing priorities & tight deadlines
- Strong Excel skills with a thorough understanding of financial modeling, formula efficiency, pivot tables, & data management
- Comfortable working through complex datasets
- Understands general accounting & financial management
- Understand how business dynamics & product performance drive financial outcomes, & integrate that understanding into deliverables
- Experience in digital advertising & technology companies preferred
- Knowledge of programmatic environments, SSPs/DSPs, & how digital media is transacted is a plus
- Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, & Tableau are a plus
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $68,000 - $129,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, & recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
