The Team & Role

SevenRooms is looking for a data-oriented & process-minded People Operations Manager to join our People team. As the People Operations Manager, you will act as the operational center of excellence for the People team, working in close partnership with Talent Acquisition, People Success & Talent Experience. In this role, you will take ownership of high priority projects to improve operational efficiency across the global People team, create & maintain dashboards for key HR metrics related to headcount, hiring, EEOC, retention & recruiting. Were looking for someone who brings a high level of passion for people, data, process improvements, & the proven ability to handle sensitive / confidential information. 

This role is essential to the success of the SevenRooms People team & will report to our Chief People Officer.

What Youll Do

  • Act as primary owner of the Companys HRIS (BambooHR) & provide source of truth data for all employee information 
  • In collaboration with People team leadership, maintain executive dashboards for key HR metrics related to headcount, hiring, EEOC, retention & recruiting. 
  • Ensure People Team databases, PEO systems & employee files are up-to-date (i.e. new hires, salary changes, promotions, leave status, separations, etc)
  • Act as an initial point of contact for a wide range of questions covering topics like benefits, payroll, onboarding, & People Team systems.
  • Responsible for scheduled compliance audits including global payroll, time & attendance, SOC 2, & contractor status. 
  • Collaborate with PEO on all local, federal & state registrations & reporting to ensure SevenRooms is meeting all legal requirements
  • Manage the administration of new hire onboarding, including new hire paperwork, background checks, HRIS processing & set up on various people systems. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve & scale our People team systems & technology stack (Greenhouse, Bamboo, Lattice, Slack,etc)
  • Create & maintain Standard Operating Procedures that enable consistent & timely practices across the People Team 
  • Handle ad-hoc data requests from the People Team & Executive Leadership Team as needed

  • You know how to maintain confidentiality but also recognize what needs to be escalated

  • You are familiar with ATS & PEO software

    • The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, & business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, & determinable.
