The Learning Experience Designer & Facilitator is responsible for designing, developing, & delivering high-impact learning programs that support organizational goals & enhance employee skills. This role combines creative instructional design with expert facilitation to create engaging & effective learning experiences. The Learning Experience Designer & Facilitator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), & leadership to ensure learning solutions are aligned with business needs & modern learning practices. The primary focus area will be supporting the design & delivery of manager & leadership development initiatives.

You'll Get To...
- Instructional Design & Content Development:
- Lead the design & development of end-to-end blended learning programs, including workshops, learning paths & on-demand resources.
- Apply adult learning principles & instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE & agile ) to create impactful learning experiences.
- Develop assessments, activities, simulations, & other interactive elements that enhance engagement & reinforce learning objectives.
- Ensure content is accessible & inclusive, leveraging diverse instructional methods to address various learning styles & levels of audience.
- Facilitation & Delivery:
- Facilitate engaging in-person & virtual training sessions that encourage participation, collaboration, & knowledge transfer.
- Serve as a subject matter expert & mentor for other facilitators, providing coaching & feedback to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Adapt facilitation style to different audiences, including leadership, technical teams, & all-staff.
- Facilitate team offsites & team effectiveness sessions that help teams align on purpose, priorities, & ways of working
- Learning Strategy & Needs Analysis:
- Collaborate with leadership & stakeholders to conduct needs assessments & identify skills gaps.
- Align learning solutions with organizational goals & skills needs, ensuring they address organization, team & individual performance improvement & long-term talent development.
- Recommend learning interventions based on data analysis, research, & trends in the field of learning & development.
- Program Management:
- Provide ongoing program management support on all manager & leadership development programming.
- Create & maintain the manager development self-paced learning resources on the Intranet/Manager Portal. Work with partners (internal comms) & stakeholders (people teams) to ensure the effectiveness of the portal.
- Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:
- Prioritize the learning effectiveness strategy & ROI of learning when designing learning initiatives.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through participant feedback, assessments, & key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze learning data & metrics to continuously improve content, delivery methods, & learner outcomes.
- Iterate & enhance training & learning materials based on evaluation data & evolving organizational needs.
- Collaboration & Partnerships:
- Establish & maintain partnerships with other L&D team members, with business leaders & within the people team.
- Provide consultative support in the form of instructional design, enablement/training strategy design & execution & facilitation (e.g. people team program roll-out support, team offsite facilitation, onboarding facilitation (step-in), etc.)
- Technology & Innovation:
- Leverage our LXP & LMS, eLearning tools (e.g., 7Taps, etc), & virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) to deliver content effectively.
- Explore emerging technologies, such as AI-powered learning, & gamification, to innovate & enhance learning experiences.
- Stay current on industry trends, sharing insights & best practices with the broader team.
Who We're Looking For
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, learning facilitation, and/or talent development.
- Proven expertise in developing & delivering large-scale learning initiatives in a corporate environment.
- Experience with LMS management & digital learning tools.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models & adult learning theories.
- Excellent storytelling & deck-building skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, & visually compelling presentations.
- Excellent facilitation & presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise, Storyline) & video editing software.)
- Ability to analyze data & apply insights to improve learning outcomes.

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $203,550 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
