As our Social Media Manager, youll become an integral part of the brand marketing team & work with key stakeholders throughout the business to develop & grow our social platforms by creating original content that meets key performance objectives, grows Moda  as an authority in all of our categories  & drives the sale of our products

Reporting to the Director, PR & Events, the Social Media Manager will help develop & execute our brand communications strategy on social media, collaborate with the Marketing team to execute key partnerships & initiatives, & manage the day-to-day operation of social media (Instagram, TikTok & Pinterest). The Social Media Specialist will also capture & produce original content to grow follower count & engagement rates on all social platforms.

This is a full-time, hybrid position, which is required to be on-site (Industry City Brooklyn) 1+ day per week on Wednesdays.

Primary Responsibilities, include:

  • Understand our brand identity & maintain a cohesive voice across all platforms
  • Align with marketing & business goals to launch campaigns that drive growth, impressions & engagement around new product launches, updates, partnerships & content releases
  • Build, create, galvanize & foster audiences across several emerging platforms through innovative marketing tactics
  • Bring the Moda  brand to life through original, well-researched, & tailored content for emerging social media platforms
  • Conceptualize, capture, & edit original video content postings for Modas social media channelsspecifically Instagram Reels & TikTok
  • Develop a robust influencer strategy that engages a wide network for marketing amplification
  • Execute seasonal gifting & seeding strategies
  • Consistently research & report against social media trends
  • Leverage & exercise data to support active & future marketing campaigns
  • Create compelling & perfectly-timed photo, video & audio assets that educate consumers about our mission & products
  • Support brand content team on the organic media calendar to plan campaigns & drive brand activity accordingly
  • Assist with the development, delivery, roll-out & reporting of marketing initiatives that drive engagement & acquisition through organic media
  • Work cross functionally with our creative & digital marketing teams to drive the brand
  • Liaise with our creative teams to execute clear & concise marketing briefs
  • Efficiently work within tight deadlines to write concise, well-polished content with powerful calls-to-action
  • Expand knowledge of social media, emerging photo, video & audio platforms, marketing trends & best practices
  • Other duties as assigned including presentations, proofing, assistance on event production, & creative thinking

Qualifications/Ideal Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media and/or digital content creation
  • A bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Expert level experience creating, posting, & analyzing content performance on social platforms Instagram, TikTok, & Pinterest (required)
  • Familiarity with Social Media reporting tools Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, or Later 
  • Experience within the luxury fashion or beauty industry (a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute successful social/digital campaigns 
  • Highly engaged on social networking sites with a passion for digital innovation 
  • Ability to analyze social performance data & summarize strengths & opportunities
  • Exceptional project & analytical skills with experience in social & digital analytics (e.g. core metrics, google analytics, brand watch & social platform analytics)
  • Highly organized & able to multitask; maintaining clear & proactive flow of communication & ownership of tasks
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build & maintain good relations internally & externally. Eager, positive, & upbeat communication style!
  • Believes no project is too small to be valuable
  • Equally enjoy being creative & analytical
  • Project Management experience 

Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid role; NYC based (Brooklyn office space)

Salary: $ 85,000 - 110,000 + Discretionary Bonus & Equity Eligible
