Were looking for a strategic, creative, & execution-focused Director of Brand Marketing to lead Zolas brand presence across PR, social, & key brand campaigns. Reporting directly to the CMO, this person will be responsible for brand strategy, storytelling, & generating buzz across owned & earned channels.
Youll manage our social team, external PR partners, & lead brand initiatives from consumer insights to campaign execution partnering closely with peers on Growth, Lifecycle, Marketing Strategy, Creative, Product, & across business teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead Zolas brand marketing strategyelevating how Zola shows up across every consumer touchpoint
- Concept & oversee execution of Zolas brand marketing campaigns, using a blend of consumer insights, timely cultural insights, Zola data & product initiatives, & a deep understanding of our brand identity.
- Manage the social media team, ensuring content is high-quality, timely, & brand-aligned, & always at the forefront of new trends
- Own PR strategy & execution, managing external PR agency & freelance consultant to drive media coverage & cultural relevance
- Partner with internal teams (creative, product, customer service, etc.) to ensure brand consistency across the full customer journey
- Lead consumer insights initiativesdesigning & analyzing brand health studies, message testing, & audience research
- Act as a key stakeholder in integrated campaign development, helping shape narratives that support performance & brand goals
- Represent the voice of the customer across the organization, advocating for storytelling, consistency, & brand strength
Requirements
- 6-8 years of brand marketing experience at consumer-facing brands or agencies
- Strong fluency in social strategy. Youre chronically online & extremely passionate about staying on top of evolutions in consumer behavior on new & emerging social channels
- Proven experience managing social media & PR teams (internal or agency-side)
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into compelling, creative brand executions
- Track record of managing complex cross-functional campaigns with clear ROI
- Excellent communication & presentation skills; comfortable working closely with executives & external partners
- A deep comfortability with getting scrappy, moving quickly, rolling up your sleeves, & figuring things out
- Passion for weddings, events, or consumer lifestyle categories a plus

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000.
