Were looking for a Data Scientist Innovation to partner with our Shopper Intelligence & Innovation team by delivering best-in-class data analytics for investor & CPG projects servicing both prospective & existing clients - driving value for clients strategic business needs.

This role will report to the VP, Innovation & Shopper Intelligence.

As a Data Scientist, you will create customized data analyses using Similarweb data. Your data analysis will support our prospective clients & existing clients strategic business needs, & help the business increase & retain customers.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Shopper & Innovation team means your daily responsibilities may include:

• Partnering with our GTM teams to scope out custom data analysis projects for client
• Using the full range of SimilarWebs data assets to address specific client pain points 
• Collaborating with R&D & Data Engineering to ensure the existence of use-case specific data, & estimating the availability & effort required to produce specific custom reports
• Preparing & communicating customized data analysis to financial services & CPG/retail companies, to ensure successful delivery to clients

This is the perfect job for someone who:

• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in data analysis (Python, Excel, Databricks)
• Can use their analytical skills to drive business impact
• Possesses 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Has experience querying & analyzing terabytes (billions of rows) worth of data
• Clear & concise communicator
• Has experience working collectively with other teams & stakeholders to accomplish business goals
• Is able to apply relevant industry knowledge to solve specific client business needs, & demonstrate value within individual client use cases

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $86,800 to $144,650 + benefits including: medical, dental & vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan & paid sick & parental leave.

Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications & relevant experience.

The base salary range above is for the New York City metro area, & could vary for candidates in other locations.
