About the Role 

iCapital is looking to hire a Relationship Manager Associate to join our International Client Solutions team. This individual will contribute to the development of new & existing US & International Asset Manager prospects & relationships to support the growth & execution of our international business.   The role will focus on maintaining & expanding relationships with GPs who would like to learn more about iCapitals global offering & provide support to coverage teams based in LATAM, EMEA, Canada & APAC. The position will require working across multiple time zones.    

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a list of current & prospective asset management clients interested in leveraging iCapitals international capabilities to grow their distribution globally. 
  • Liaise with Product Development & the local coverage teams in Europe, Asia, Canada & LATAM to understand iCapitals onshore & offshore capabilities in each region & be prepared to succinctly convey this to US based asset management clients. 
  • Assist lead coverage teams with pitching new business specifically related to iCapitals international capabilities, including the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RPFs); Over time develop & manage key relationships.  
  • Deepen & build on existing & new relationships with asset managers & position iCapital as the solutions provider to actively support their ambitions for their alternative investments platform.  
  • Work collaboratively with internal & external cross-functional teams to ensure globally coordinated fund launches & execution of other strategic initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the Client Coverage team across the firm to drive tactical & strategic initiatives regarding strategy & business development globally.  
  • Assist in the management of internal projects to develop & implement a framework & process for collaboration across the globe.  
  • Develop presentations & analysis for internal & external meetings & projects. 
  • Build strong internal relationships within iCapital & work closely with other teams (Research & Fund Management, Product Development, Enterprise Integration Group, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, Technology, Operations, etc.) to achieve the best client outcomes & successful long-term client relationships. 

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in a business development/relationship management capacity (International experience preferred, but not required)  
  • Knowledge of the Alternative Investments industry & key stakeholders (Admins, Transfer Agents, Custodians preferred but not required) 
  • Adequate exposure to Private Equity and/or other Private Markets asset classes & knowledge of Private Wealth Distribution channels highly preferred 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Strategic mindset & able to work independently 
  • Excellent project management skills, well organized & highly collaborative strategic thinker 
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, & Salesforce Skills 
  • Demonstrated client service skills with stakeholders & clients 

 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
