What you'll do
DoubleVerify is seeking a strategic & innovative Director of Product Marketing to lead the commercialization initiatives for the portfolio of DoubleVerifys products & ensure seamless alignment with the Commercial team. In this highly visible role, you will drive the go-to-market strategy, develop comprehensive product training programs, & gather critical market insights to support product development & sales efforts. This role is integral to DoubleVerify & will serve as a thought partner to both the product management & commercial teams, ensuring cohesive & effective market activation. Additionally, you will ensure a continuous feedback loop between the sales & product teams, capturing customer, competitor, & market insights to refine product positioning & messaging, & provide real-time insights into the roadmap. You will create & oversee a structured product training program for all customer-facing teams at DoubleVerify.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product & Customer Understanding: Gain & maintain a thorough understanding of DoubleVerifys portfolio of products, as well as the customers & their buying journey. Use this knowledge to inform & enhance product marketing activities.
- Product Training Program: Develop & implement comprehensive curriculum & product training programs for the commercial team. Partner with the product marketing & enablement teams to create & maintain sales decks, product collateral, & other sales assets.
- Sales-Driven Market & Customer Feedback: Establish a program to gather & analyze market & customer feedback by aligning closely with the Commercial team. Collaborate with the product management & product marketing to prioritize & integrate feedback into the product roadmap.
- Win/Loss Analysis: Conduct thorough win/loss analysis to understand the reasons behind successful & unsuccessful deals. Provide actionable insights to the sales & product teams to improve future performance.
- Storytelling: Be a gifted storyteller. Focus on customer value, driving the creation of compelling narratives that convert complex technologies & concepts into elegant stories, reflected in internal & external assets, communication materials, global training & enablement programs.
- Performance Metrics: Establish & track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize & improve.
Who You are

Experience: 8+ years of experience in B2B product marketing and/or sales enablement

Background: Preference for a background in AdTech or MarTech, with a good understanding of the advertising ecosystem.

Technical Acumen: Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand & articulate complex product concepts in a complex ecosystem, elegantly.

Leadership: Strong background in developing & delivering product training programs, sales content, & tools that have demonstrable impact on sales performance.

Can-do Attitude: Positive mindset, always looking for solutions on how to do something, as opposed to why not to do it.

Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to inspire & organize cross-functional teams around key objectives

Communication Skills: Excellent storytelling abilities, including written & verbal communication in every form that a product marketer touches.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $127,000 - $271,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
