THE ROLE

Mack Weldon is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to manage the overall sample process, coordinate sample shoots & work cross-functionally with Design & Production on day-to-day tasks. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated & eager to learn the ins & outs of the merchandising & production processes. They will help own key aspects of the visual tools that help to keep our cross-functional teams intertwined & up to date. This role will collaborate with several teams including Design, Production, & Marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process all data entry into our production management systems, including style set-up & creation of purchase orders
• Create & assist in the updates of the seasonal line sheet, shared cross functionally company-wide
• Organize & maintain production related samples & track arrival
• Act as a liaison between Marketing & Production to coordinate the timing of site images
• Partner with Design & Marketing on quarterly photoshoots & aid in all sample preparation & organization
• Perform other duties as required such as: assisting in fittings, accommodating warehouse order requests with Logistics team, site maintenance, and opening & distributing packages from overseas vendors

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

• 1-2 years relevant experience would be helpful to get a jump start, though no direct prior experience is required
• Eagerness to learn about the production & merchandising processes
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently
• Exceptional interpersonal communication (written & verbal) & organization skills 
• Comfortable with basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)

• Salary range of $62,500 - $72,500 *This range represents the low & high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience & qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, & balancing internal equity relative to other MW employees.
