We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for our Platform team, which aims to provide a service platform on top of which all product team services run.

This is a hybrid role working from our New York office 2-3 days per week. You will report to the Platform Engineering Team Manager.

You'll Get To

• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled platform engineers to maintain & expand Acuity Scheduling's services platform.
• Design & build the next-generation service platform using industry-leading practices & emerging technologies to support Acuity Scheduling's growth.
• Work closely with business & technical stakeholders to architect & enhance compute platform capabilities, enabling efficient application development & iteration to support business needs.
• Identify & implement automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks & improve operational efficiency.
• Take part in an on-call rotation to uphold platform health & operational excellence.

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE roles, working with programming languages such as Python, Golang
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, especially in public cloud environments like EKS, GKS, or AKS & administering Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Argo, Drone, or similar.
• Knowledge of platform observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
• An analytical mindset & a passion for solving complex business challenges with technology.

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
