As a Growth Analyst, you will serve as the analytical backbone of Squarespace Domains, translating complex financial & product data into a coherent performance narrative that drives actionable insights for senior executives. You'll partner closely with the Domains & Email Growth Leadership team to enable data-informed decision making & identify opportunities for business growth & optimization. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Growth & can work on-site at our New York City headquarters. 

You'll uncover main insights that directly inform how we attract new & retain existing Domains & Email customers. You'll translate broad business questions into clear data explorations, turning complex findings into simple, relevant recommendations for non-technical partners. You will establish & maintain a robust performance monitoring system, including daily metric tracking & alerts, comprehensive weekly business reviews, dashboard development, & monthly deep-dive analyses for executive stakeholders. These regular touchpoints ensure early detection of business anomalies, enable data-driven course corrections, & provide strategic recommendations that inform long-term business planning. Additionally, you will support long term strategic planning analysis, helping shape growth initiatives through scenario modeling, pricing testing, market analysis, & forecasting.

You'll Get To...

• Lead end-to-end analysis of performance metrics for our Domains business across product, finance, & operations, synthesizing findings into comprehensive business narratives for executive stakeholders
• Partner with different Analytics, Product, & other relevant teams to combine insight & translate into data-driven methods to help identify new growth opportunities
• Design & maintain scalable reporting systems & dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key business drivers 
• Translate broad questions into plans for research & discovery, perform data exploration, & create narratives from data insights for non-technical team members that cater to clear storytelling & applicable recommendations
• Synthesize data across product analytics, marketing efficiency, & platform health to evaluate business impact of key initiatives 
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop analytical frameworks for measuring business health & forecasting future performance
• Partner with Analytics & Data Engineering to build infrastructure that supports analytical rigor & to develop models & tools that improve business impact
• Monitor industry dynamics by analyzing market trends & competitor movements

Who We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in strategy, process execution, business intelligence, dashboarding, reporting, or data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in SQL & experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets skills including complex modeling, pivots, & advanced formulas
• Knowledge of statistical analysis & experimental design
• Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude)
• Experience in designing & implementing metrics frameworks to measure business performance
• Proven track record of translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior audiences

Cash Compensation Range: $105,500 - $170,200 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
