Position Overview

DoubleVerify is at an exciting point in its growth trajectory as the leading global provider of media verification & performance solutions to leading brands worldwide. We are seeking a VP of Corporate Marketing to lead local marketing teams as they create & execute cross-channel marketing plans. This individual will oversee teams across the Americas, EMEA & JAPAC. Building off our corporate marketing strategy, this individual will work with regional marketing directors (and their teams) & commercial leadership to create local marketing plans - developing programs that drive awareness, promote thought leadership, & support lead generation & communications initiatives targeting top prospects & customers in each region. This individual will work closely with leaders & teams across product marketing, marketing analytics, events, creative, editorial, & operations to develop strategies, manage timelines, & execute seamlessly on time & on budget. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring all programs are accountable & measurable based on designated KPIs. 

What You Will Do:

The VP will collaborate closely with the CMO to define strategies & tactics that will enable DV to fortify its leadership position as a company that powers media quality & performance for top brands & agencies. This means raising our profile in key markets, & designing content & outreach programs with messaging that is attuned to local market nuances & specifically resonates with target clients. 

To be successful, you will:

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders & stakeholders across all aspects of corporate marketing including brand, content, & customer marketing 
  • Develop marketing programs that accelerate revenue & market share growth 
  • Further DVs position as an industry thought leader, collaborating with the cross-functional teams to establish the strategic planning & execution of large-scale content programs & priority research projects
  • Work with Regional Directors to design & implement programs that maximize the effectiveness & efficiency of cross-channel customer marketing & communications - addressing the key needs of individual regions
  • Work with Regional Directors to design & implement regional PR strategies that resonate with local audiences
  • Partner with product marketing & commercial stakeholders to drive the execution of marketing strategies tailored to different customer priorities & needs (i.e., verticals, lifecycle stages, etc.)
  • Collaborate on a cross-channel approach to marketing & communications that reinforces core content & strategic themes, working with global Directors to localize messaging & approach  
  • Nurture & develop a talented team of local practitioners to achieve these goals
  • Manage marketing budget & expenditures
  • Maintain brand standards & ensure compliance across all marketing & communications channels
  • Identify competitors & evaluate their strategies & positioning & devise counter-strategies
  • Build long-term relationships with employees, customers, industry associations, & stakeholders

Who You Are / What You Have Done:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Marketing/communications or related field - Masters degree preferred
  • 10+ years experience in marketing leadership and/or communications; previous working experience as a Marketing VP or Director for at least 3 years
  • Experience managing & inspiring a team of contributors - both direct & indirect reports
  • Demonstrated leadership, writing, & communication skills
  • Experience executing market analysis & developing collateral in PowerPoint & other creative software
  • Experience with lead-generation/ABM capabilities within Salesforce or similar CRM a plus
  • Ability to work independently and/or facilitate communications across functional teams
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, performance-oriented, team-based environment
  • Deep understanding of changing market dynamics & trends

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role, based on the qualifications set forth in the job description, is between [$185,000.00 - $320,000.00]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles & recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
