Were looking for a seasoned data + analytics manager (individual contributor) to drive forward our pricing analytics function. In this role, you will contribute to building best-in-class architecture to support price & discount strategy across HelloFresh North America brands to maximize customer satisfaction & profitability. To inform this vision, you will establish analytical approaches such as competitive benchmarking, financial & econometric modeling, & A/B testing. You will also help to identify new opportunities to move faster & smarter, driving toward predictive analytics to unlock customer value.
This role reports to our Associate Director of Pricing Analytics & will collaborate closely with the commercial Pricing & Discount Strategy team, along with many of our other stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Engineering, ML&AI, & other organizations. This is a high impact role that directly impacts the bottom line for HelloFresh Group.
You will...
- Own the end to end price testing strategy & framework from modeling, to A/B testing, to implementation.
- Serve as a technical thought leader & build models on innovative pricing topics like geo-segmented pricing, dynamic pricing, & ML-driven discount recommendations.
- Develop frameworks, including but not limited to reports, processes, & analytical approaches to address price discrimination opportunities.
- Communicate complex technical topics to business leaders who do not have technical backgrounds, showing how data-driven insights connect to HelloFresh strategic initiatives & arriving at recommendations / tangible next steps.
- Collaborate with data science, finance, & marketing to develop a consistent approach to measure the impact of discounts with regards to gross & net revenue, short- & long-term (customer) profitability, & cross-effects to Marketing budgets.

At a minimum, you have...
- MSc in Business, Economics, Math or other quantitative discipline required
- 4+ years of professional work experience with experience in pricing analytics
- Outstanding technical skill in SQL & Excel, experience with Python preferred
- Experience devising & measuring the effectiveness of couponing initiatives in e-commerce using A/B testing
- Solid understanding of econometric models (price elasticity of demand, revenue management etc)
- Basic understanding & use of most common machine learning algorithms.
- Experience building end-to-end data solutions utilizing a mix of the above.
